Horde to Ally Ratio Arugal

Is Blizzard going to do anything about the huge disparity between the Horde population and the Ally population? or is this just one of those things that is left up to chance?

It is very difficult to quest in contested zones when you are constantly outnumbered 10:1.

Yes I chose a PVP server, but it is not a fair fight when you have a huge outnumber in every contested zone.

How do you know what the ratio is?

Then don’t play on PVP server

transfer to felstriker where it actually balanced population…according to the census addon and the feel of stv is about right i see = amounts of alliance as i do horde… so this is what people get when they rush to get to the most fullest server and then realise maybe i should have waited 1-2 days and choosen a low pop or medium pop server.

I don’t know the exact numbers, but I am certainly not the only person to comment on the huge number of horde players v ally in the contested zones

It’s funny because my friends on discord were complaining about alliance constantly ganking them in STV tonight. I do think the 10:1 ratio might be a bit dramatic…

You can also transfer over to Felstriker atm if you aren’t happy with the Arugal population.

I’m positive the ratio is more balanced…

It started with ally ganking horde, but now Horde have snowballed the zone in northern STV, in last 20min I have died 6 times to a group of about 12 in the ruins of Zulkunda.

No one wants to transfer to the dead realms, but this is ridiculous, because there isnt even any reason to kill the opposite faction at the moment. Plenty of mobs for everyone.

20 min really isbt a valid time i would think to make a judgement on the overall valance. Neither is 1 zone.
We will know in time.

The most Blizzard can do is offer free faction changes to realms that are already heavily offset, and add specific realm forums so players know what’s happening on their server and where the action is.

With that said, it’s as much the player’s responsibility to help your faction along. Join a guild / community and have PvP / PvE events that draw players to your faction. Every server to my knowledge has a Discord server, so use it. Advertise, sell your faction. Get creative.

The realm is definitely not “dead” and you don’t need a reason to gank or kill on a PvP server. Some people just enjoy it. It’s a refreshing break from constant grinding and questing. Goodluck!

Arugal census is 60/40 Horde Alliance. There was a lot of prediscussion between large groups of players who were deciding their factions. Most hardcore guilds from retail went to Horde and then a Blade of kill and Gulch Trotters went Alliance.

You shouldn’t be surprised at all if you kept up with the oceanic classic discord, reddit etc

I would totes say it depends on the server you are in, on my server all our ally is between like lvls 20-28 so nobody really in contested zones yet. So I’m constantly getting ganked by groups of horde lol. They have no honour.

I had no idea what the population would be like until I hit around level 30-40 and got into STV, oh boy. I can win most 1v2’s but it’s typically me alone and 5+ horde in any given quest area, as soon as 1 of them attack you the other guys get a herd mentality and all jump in.

I originally wanted to play undead mage but friends wanted to play ally for nostalgia. Rip.

but thats because you deserve it.

Every server is 2:1 in favor of Horde

Basically unplayable

Supposedly, Rattlegore, Westfall, Aetish, Pagle, and a couple others are alliance heavy.

Yeah I feel so bad for you, playing on the side that needs players the most🙄
