Horde Safe zoning guards on Netherwind classic

I’ve sent in several reports about these guys safe zoning the guards in Everlook but nothing ever seems to happen to them. What should I do? Should I just start doing it too, since it’s easy honor?

I was going to attach screen shots but apparently that isn’t allowed.
If you go to imgur and:

you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about.

Thanks,

Commissar

All you have to do is right-click and report for cheating. What they’re doing is definitely against the rules and we’ve seen others here on this forum complaining about how they got in trouble for it too. So reporting really does work, but it takes time for those reports to catch up to the cheaters.

What you’ll want to do is remove the screenshots as it’s against the rules to call out other players on the forums. Nor are reports of cheating taken via the forums.

You should also put in a bug report. The developers have had at least one hot fix for guards at the goblin locations to increase range, but you also need to work up your reputation before the guards really step in to help.

WoW Classic

  • The guards in Gadgetzan, Booty Bay, and Everlook now have a significantly longer range on their ranged attacks.

    • Developers’ note: We’re seeing some players attack others by abusing line-of-sight rules in Gadgetzan. This disruption is against our Terms of Service (as it was in 2006) and we’re taking action against players who exploit this game mechanic. While this new range differs slightly from original WoW 1.12, it better enforces the authentically intended consequence of PvPing in a goblin city by challenging the attacker to fight, die, or escape the guards.

WoW Classic

  • Guards will now correctly be more willing to assist players in PvP combat who have Friendly or higher standing with them. However, they will continue to not assist players with Neutral standing.

As a heads up blizzard doesn’t care at all about this safe zoning crap. They’ve been continuing to do it despite my reports.
