The fact that they’re pulling in a race-based insult from a completely different franchise should say something about the level of involvement those people have with WoW’s story.

i would like to add that the dislike ratio was extremely superior at first until blizzard made some move to upload it again to “clean it” a little.
i remember seeing a dislike ratio that was more than half of dislikes compared to likes. everyone was hating it.
The anger was more or less contained with the surprise release of old-soldier.
but then that was also ruined.

If I wasn’t lazy, I’d collect a variety of Blizzard statements, old vanilla quests, and WC3 examples to present as a (editable, like Pellex’s “shame tally”) “what did you expect” master post thread that can be linked every time an Alliance poster insists Horde players obviously should have guessed this is their fate because what else would happen to “monster” races.

How does a thread like this get more than two posts? This forum would be a much better place if we just stopped responding to the obvious trolls, or to threads that cover the same topics we’ve seen a million times. Just stop engaging with bad threads and posters.

I’m pretty sure ‘Carmageddon’ used to main a female belf of the same name who went ‘eff this’ at the beginning of BFA and switched to using their Wow Classic character as their forum avatar; so yes?

My two cents. Most Alliance players, especially the gung-ho Horde-hating ones, have no idea what the Horde wants or what the players expected. I also think most of them consider Horde races ‘lesser’ so when Horde members get slaughtered, it’s not as important as some humans dying. ‘Haha mass goblin killing funnee’ etc etc.
I am also sick of the self-righteous whining and ignoring of the other side’s legitimate grievances, and at this point you’ve driven me to just relish the schadenfreude when Alliance gets shafted. You’ve become insufferable. I’m glad you got Mechagnomes.

I could not even muster that much anti Alliance vitriol… with a straight face.

They do have neat racials and a neat theme. I wish ALL races and classes could have Undead, Cybernetic, or Plantbased customization. I would like my Vulpera Hunter to have a robot arm, reminiscent of Cable. And some folk might want to RP being a Plant/Spore infected person.
While they make a good joke, they are a neat customization for a niche race.
Your “legitimate” grievances are pretty much minor inconveniences that Alliance players have learned to live with.

It is a lifestyle. Not an enviable one.

Its more entertaining than playing BFA right now.
Look I know blizzard stated somewhere that both factions are supposed to be morally gray.
Now normally, I’m all for both factions being morally gray. The problem is that blizzard is doing a terrible job portraying morally gray. Anything that Alliance has done against Horde completely pales in comparison to Teldrassil’s burning.
