Horde players list why you don't play alliance

Let’s give blizzard some foresight of why some of us refuse or left the alliance.

I’ll start.

I didn’t like how humans control the alliance narrative so much that no other race gets any significant spotlight.

Stormwind lags for me and yeah actually, if I did play alliance I would play Dwarf that would get zero representation… when was the last time any dwarf leader was in any sort of spotlight…?

Edit: Magni is a dwarf but nothing about him in BFA was about being a dwarf other than Anduin giving him his mountain king weapon…ahh yes savior master race human give dobey his weapon

  1. They’re not Horde
  2. I like the nomadic/shamanistic nature of most of the Horde more than I like the Alliance
  3. The Alliance has been favored by Blizzard for many years now to keep many of their leaders, growing more and more powerful, while many well-received and loved Horde leaders have been written off to develop semi-weak or entirely weak plots
  4. The only races on the Alliance I really like are Night Elves and Draenei, as compared to the Horde: Orcs, Tauren, Zandalari/Troll, Vulpera
  5. Still salty about the Alliance’s Garrison being 500x better than the Horde’s

Male human Paladins give me neck gaiter mask vibes.

Honestly the races don’t interest me so I’d be forced to play Pandaren tbh.

Probably hoping to be carried to pvp and raid victory on the Hordes prancing elf faction :upside_down_face:

I play rather casually and you can find groups 3x faster on the horde side and you can turn on Warmode and not spend the whole time corpse running and constantly having to flee zones because your out numbered 3 to 1

Lack of orcs :rofl::rofl:

Seriously though, the races don’t interest me enough.

I also didn’t like the humans being the focus. The areas were boring, cities were boring, characters were boring. I got tired of that side pretty fast.

IMO the most interesting race/civilization on the Alliance is the Night Elves. Blizzard completely neglects them, with the exception of occasionally kicking them in the teeth.

  8. smug delusional thoughts about how the Alliance is “good” and the accompanying whining

(I actually play both factions quite regularly, but I prefer the Horde)

I tried alliance at first season of bfa. It was most alliance populated server.
below are Just random numbers for comparison;
there was 30 m+ groups listed in premade.
at the same time horde had 100m+ groups listed in premade.
So i continued horde.

The only reason to play on one side or the other is opportunity. Since they can never balance opportunity, these discussions are pointless.

When the meta was dominated by horde on US in cata, EU was dominated by alliance. Players will always congregate to the side they think will give them the best advantage. Whether that is finding a guild, PvP, making gold, you name it.

If they removed the cost to faction change, we could see actual balance with proper incentives. Since that will likely never happen, nothing will change.

Would play more Alliance if they had Goblins. You know more then the one, who already has enough followers to be a trade prince inside the alliance along with his Gnome wife/assistant.

Plus… Alliance hates explosions. Cold hard facts. They been given plenty of massive near nuke bombs on their airships, and have yet to use them. At all. Not even once. So yeah.

Psttt… friendo. That’s actually the point. What’s happening to the Night Elves is a concept originating from Tolkien. The waning of the elves. Elves constantly being a dying race is pretty much a core component of all things descended from Tolkien, because their narrative role as “better than humans in most practical ways” makes it unwise to have legions of them around.

I’ve played both. Switched many times. I prefer alliance cities and races. I’m horde now because the people I play with prefer horde. I was outvoted

I have a excellent list of reasons.

  1. Blue sucks.
  2. Red rocks.
  3. More Elves…I think…
  4. I have a tail.
  5. Worgen do not have tails.
  6. You have TWO kinds of humans, both are annoying.
  7. Your most interesting fantasy religion, the Light, was made into a joke.
  8. 16 years later, gnome baby limbs are still nasty to behold.
  9. Mechagnomes broke the baby limb mold, then put on a diaper.

Because literally none of my friends are willing to play it. I’d go ally just to have better looking buildings tbh.
