Know an entire clan who transfered servers because they got tired of getting ganked and killed by level 60s. 3 Friends of mine transfered for the same reason. God knwos how many others have and will transfer too thanks to the Horde.
I haven’t been able to revive from my corpse at STV for 3 days without getting immediately ganked or killed by a 60. Arathi Highlands, Hillsbrad Foothills and Alterac Mountains were pure aids for the same reason. Everywhere there are hordies questing, they’re ganking and their 60 babysitters are killing low levels. My finger is itching to transfer.
Congratulations, Horde players, for destroying the server! Keep being this gigantic cancerous tumor, shietstaining the entire PvP and driving your only source of fights to other servers, away from your unpleasant existence. Not only will you run out of people to bother, but the rest of your faction that is not brain damaged will also be negatively affected.
And I’m sure theres a Horde player with the same complaint about the Alliance.
As stated all over the forums, ‘A PvP problem has a PvP solution.’
All it took was one guy to ask for help and as I was heading over, 6 other folks came to help him at the same time. It was surprisingly funny to see that much response.
The first month-and-a-half of this server operated under a borderline truce while most people levelled, quested and farmed beside each other with very little pvp. There are exceptions to that rule, but even the most “hardcore” among you would be hard-pressed to disagree with that assessment.
Once more people got 60 and further progression was mostly contained inside pvp-protected instances, people got emboldened to pvp more. Especially if they had a numbers or levels advantage. Certain hotspots at certain times were bloodbaths. But it was still a very moderate environment overall.
“Welcome to Classic” is nonsense. This wasn’t Classic until a couple of weeks ago. And the vast majority of people that are now out griefing lowbies and casual gamers had no interest in pvp’ing until honour came out. Powergaming up under a non-Aggression pact while you avoided PvP and gained a level advantage and stockpiled raid gear and consumables, and then turning around and greifing people that aren’t as lifeless as you isn’t “hardcore”. If you were challenging yourself with pvp all-throughout Classic (and I know there are some of you), then this doesn’t apply to you. But I am very skeptical that a majority of the current “PvP’ers” would have lasted in this environment (at least without shedding a lot of tears along the way).
Not to be harsh OP, but this server has PvP ruleset and if people get tilted about being zerged and camped, they are better off on a pve or retail warmode server.
Phase 2 is a culling, a purge if you will. You need to be made of strong stuff to represent your faction. GL on the transfer. /salute
This server is still roughly 50/50 horde alliance. Yes, there are meanie pants horde, but the alliance are just as mean. I think you just have more alliance thumbing around Ironforge than horde in Orgrimmar.
