Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I didn’t know where else to post it.
Last week I was levelling and I got killed by a Horde player, nothing new. The problem is that I kept respawning and getting attacked almost instantly again, even though they were nowhere to be seen. So I decided to wait a while to see if they would leave.
After a minute or two, I see the guy come up to my ghost and just stand right next to me. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but then I moved around, and he followed me in the exact same direction I was going. I walked around for a while, but he kept finding me, he even managed to /wave at me.
Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure if they were hacking or if this was just a bug.
Ghosts are not stealthed, they’re able to be seen within a certain radius to both factions.
That’s news to me. I have never seen the ghost of someone from the opposite faction. Guess I’ll look next time.

Hmm, I doubt that’s true, you can’t even see same faction ghosts unless they’re in a party or you’re also dead.
Earlier today during some world PvP a lot of players died, Horde and Alliance alike, and I did not see a single ghost no matter how close by I was.
My friend got killed at one point before we partied up, and as soon as I added him to a party his ghost popped up next to me.

Could be an unintended side effect of phasing/realm sharding, since I remember it happening every so often as far back as Warlords, without partying up for both factions.
Either way, ain’t a bad idea to Bug Report it, I guess.
Yeah it was very confusing to me, haha. Thanks for your help, hopefully I’ll eventually find out what it was
