Horde overreacted. Blizzard changes killed the AV premade

The Alliance pre-mades who thought they were invincible because of their ‘skill’ are finding out that they really aren’t and weren’t. lol

You killed premades by abusing your own faction. I don’t care for playing against a premade but cheesing your own faction is just weak dude. I hope you all rot.

I had no problem with how AV was before … they need to stop listening to the forum cry babies …

For Alliance r13s going for r14, it does allow the more ‘elite’ players the opportunity to separate themselves from the r13s who were being carried. Maybe that’s why the devs released the fixes a couple of weeks before the first r14s.

I can’t tell if people legitimately believe stuff like this or if they’re just trolling.

“You should be thanking us for making 1000s of games a day (that stomped you in 6 minutes)”

It’s right up there with “This is all Horde’s fault for turtling and winning AV all the time”

It’s pretty funny watching some of these zug zugs on here try to rewrite history and act like Horde haven’t been crying nonstop since AV launched. Na, it had to have been the handful of posts made by Alliance that got Blizz to act. :joy:

Hey, a wild Gnomechomsky on the forums. You’re from Benediction too ya?

What makes you think WSG will be better honor per hour when the majority of games will be premade vs premade turtles?

Goodbye 6-minute AV wins, welcome 7-minute WSG wins.

If you think the change was from forum posts, i think you are deluding yourself.

If you think that the forums are on Blizzard’s top 10 goto list for feedback, you’re going to be a bit disappointed.

Even with the dr change we just had an AV where we were getting 0 honor within 20-25min of the game and it took another 30m to win.

And yet they implemented the horde forum request for AV # removal

Let’s not forget the countless Alliance complaints. Not all of us are cool with ranking up by cheating.

You guys keep on spouting this nonsense. It’s not cheating.

Yet there were actions taken to prevent it. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::thinking:

but not bans, and it still happens :face_with_monocle:

Ignore him, from what I have seen of his personality he probably got banned from premades and is salty about it.

I am not trying to be confrontational or trolling here but we have to admit that if it was not “Cheating” it was skirting a fine line and ultimately Blizzard decided that they did not like the behavior and changed the game to prevent it.

So maybe Blizzard is not going to go back and cite every player that was doing it for cheating, but they did feel it was not in the spirit of what they wanted for the BG.

In the end, we can all sit here in the forums and debate the finer points of if it was cheating or not, but in the end Blizzard has the final say and they have spoken.

I vote we move on and try to enjoy the game.

Even if it is cheating, who cares? It’s a video game and people have objectives they want to complete and wanted to have fun. I did not have fun in pugs so I joined the premades, I didn’t win more than 30-40% of the time but horde got good fights, alliance got good fights. Seems like everyone benefits overall in that situation.

So yeah, call me a cheater, I had fun and got what I wanted from a video game.

I honestly don’t care what someone who is either A.Horde, or B.Cares so much about fairness in a video game that they repeat the same line 50 times in different threads. We get it, No one cares about your opinion in real life, no one cares online either.

Another point, yes you could do pre-mades in Vanilla, but let’s all be honest with each other, it was not abused to the extent it was today.

Bottom line is Pre-mades got out of control and it went from somethings that may have been wrong but was not impacting the playerbase majority into something that was way too crazy.

Good analogy. You decide to have a party when your parents are on vacation. You invited a few friends, now if it had stayed that small things would have been fine, but word got out and 2/3 of the school show up and the cops are called.

The same thing happened here with pre-mades. Had it not been abused and kept to a small portion of the players it probably would have went unchanged.
