Aside from Blood Elves and Nightborne, it’s really hard for me to play Horde. The races just seem so much better on Alliance and the cities in the Horde feel like a 3rd world country. I can’t seem to understand why people love the Horde so much. I guess I will have to accept that I’m a minority in this belief. Even with potentially being able to do cross faction dungeons, you probably won’t be able to join a guild from the Horde anyway. What say you all?

Well, Alliance are the good guys. Horde are basically undesirables from the wrong side of the tracks.

Most of the playerbase are Horde.
So yes, feel free to play Alliance if you like being the good guys. But get used to living in a ghost town with almost nobody around to do group content with.

The notion that Horde are bad and Alliance are good is a tired trope at this point, especially with Blizz going out of their way to paint Horde in a more Neutral/Peaceful light. Honestly I like some of the Horde character models and I like some of the Alliance character models. Get on with the cross-faction guilds so I’m not locked down to one side or the other.

I primarily play Alliance.
More than anything–I just want to be able to communicate with the Horde in /2 Trade or open world chat.
I hate how the “language barrier” prohibits me from talking to like 75% of the player base when I’m in major cities.
I just want to chit chat. Make it happen. It’s beyond time.

I’ve always had horde characters, but I’ll never leave the alliance unless I have to.
It’s not a tired trope. You just don’t like that Horde.
I personally like the evil warmongering side of the Horde.

If I could just play Tauren and not be in the Horde, with Tauren inspired things like a Tauren Garrison vs an orc one life would be perfect.
Having to deal with Forsaken and Blood Elves is difficult. Orcs are not perfect but better than those two.

I’m the opposite. I can’t see how anyone can main alliance. I have some alliance characters but I’ve never been able to stick to playing any of them for more than a few weeks tops. I always…ALWAYS come back to horde.

You’re not the minority. A full third of The Horde play Blood Elves. If Horde never had the pretty elf race, Alliance wouldn’t be on life support now.
