Horde or Alliance for pvp?

Honestly who has the upper hand between the two?

I haven’t pvped in awhile and recently back in the game.

Also…Are horde pvp queue times faster than alliance or is it about the same?

Thanks

Alliance have waaaaaaay faster ques. And I don’t really see any difference I win and lose pretty equally no matter which faction I am playing

Really?

Horde epic bgs is like 30 mins wait time. Insane.

Smaller bgs is still like 10 mins or so usually.

Alliance is faster than that?

Alliance has better racials, but Horde has more players currently. PvP queues are quicker for Alliance than Horde. Most Horde queues are about 10-15 minutes.

thanks good to know

Really? I hate PVPing on Alliance side because they do everything wrong, in Isle of Conquest if they don’t cap hangar they rage quit and sit in middle and if they do cap hangar they don’t usually defend against Horde glaives and lose, in Alterac Valley Alliance usually rushes to the end and ignores first two towers while Horde caps all four bunkers and loses and finally in Wintergrasp and Ashran masses auto quit as soon as joining and if not usually gets steamrolled first fight and mass quits so. Lol.

Alliance = Faster ques, more losses
Horde = Longer ques, more wins
That’s the gist of it.

I would say Alliance just for the queue times, and also because of their racials.
I’d be playing Alliance right now too if I didn’t have to start over from scratch since all of my toons are Horde.

Well I guess I don’t really do Epic bgs much lol only sometimes on my main being Horde lol but Wintergrasp no matter what I have tried a couple times on my Mage alliance but no matter what char I am on it’s always an in progress losing one on the attacking side lol getting a fresh wintergrasp just never happens! Lol

It’s not how many you win or lose it’s how you win or lose…I have been on both dies and either I have bad luck or I am just jumbled with all new players vs all bored overgeared players.

I have the opposite experience. The horde bgs are full of elitist min maxers that rage at innocent casuals.
Its a very toxic environment. It is okay to lose or barely win sometimes folks.

Horde has more players. More doesn’t mean better, it just means there’s more players to judge and log.

You can look at the PvP ladders and Raid stats and see there are plenty of Alliance doing rated arenas and Mythic raids.

Ahhh the many joys of being a backfiller into a losing battleground, said no one ever. Haha. :joy: :joy: :joy:

Queuing up for BGs takes eternity, but then you get in and win while a tumbleweed rolls past you.

Rated BGs are absolutely dominated by Horde.
Casual pvp is dominated by horde.
Higher tier/arena is dominated by Alliance.

Well I don’t really notice a difference in either faction being better or dumber in bgs I win the exact same ways on both sides and lose to the same dumb reasons no matter which faction I am on I really don’t see any difference really

Sorry you have had that experience, I’d say do like me and add them to ignore list and move on, no reason to let asshats ruin your day or night depending.

My Alliance PvP experience is similar but every now and then you get a group that just plays flawlessly.

You lose a lot, but when Alliance wins, they win, none of my Alliance victories have been close games.
