I will never not hype MG Horde. The communities here are incredibly kind and welcoming and the people that collaborate to put together events are creative and dedicated. I cannot recommend it enough.
I can’t and will not speak for anyone else but I GM a guild on Alliance side Moonguard and anytime I’m not over there and doing things I’m on my Horde alt and doing stuff in and around Azeroth with others. If you care about shear numbers, stay on Alliance but TBH if you care about shear numbers that much, you aren’t really there for the RP. Just my take though.
I main Alliance but have toons on both sides. If you want walk up, Stormwind/Alliance, but if you want to explore guild communities and planned events, Horde has more diversity and inclusiveness. But you do have to do the work to let them know you want involvement.
I think that’s where many fail, they want everybody to just come to them and quite frankly, it’s not realistic. xD It’s not that the Horde communities aren’t friendly, but they don’t sit in trade chat for 9 hours a day spamming guild ads and unsolicited invites like on the Alliance.
Horde Roleplay on Moonguard is active, there are plenty of people. There is still city roleplay, it is just not the amount that say WRA has. Instead we focus on community event’s story and other things. On top of that with the growing return of many people, you have your selection of roleplay guilds with active and amazing people. The Undercity Nexus, The War Wolves, The Pheonix Legion, and The Stormtalon Tribe and many many other’s!
Oh my dear friend. Bring your hord toons in Stormwind anytime! Very friendly and safe place, I promise.
Hope he has a country because he’s sure getting a flag.
That gnomes just mad because she can’t see over the counters at the inns.
Don’t see what the fuss is about. I’m nuts over her.
But, do you guys have a moment to talk about the Forgotten Shadow?
The hubs and I just started back up after some serious breaks (he recovered his vanilla account and I’m back from early SL) and just over the last few months I’ve seen MG-H RP growing. We run a cross-faction guild focused on building more old school RP, still growing but getting there and I know things like the Vanguard discord are around. Good folks so it seems. Horde RP does seem more structured, but that’s not really a negative thing, imo. I come from VeCo in the Pre-merge days, structure is my jam. Wish our RP fit with Vanguard reqs
At any rate, it’s been wonderful seeing Horde side grow recently, I’m hoping the cross-faction stuff is gonna encourage more Alli to make alts.
Returned a couple months ago and rolled an Alliance as that is what I have always played. Been trying my hand as a Tauren as well and have had a blast on both sides of the coin here on MG.
Cheers!
So…tell us more about your guild?
In the title I see bards, and that has a pretty wide base of appeal. I would love to know more.
plays Toss a Coin to Your Witcher over Musician
Don’t forget The Hearthstone Tribe, DeepCore Industries, Flashbang Exports, The Argent Advance, etc.
The Blackwater Company is also seeking more Horde players as we are a faction neutral guild! Cannon’s do not care what race our fodder is.
We have re-branded to Peaceweavers! Booty Bay Bards was Alliance based cross-faction, so we didnt meet the req’s. The hubs and I decided to dedicate ourselves to the Horde side full time and are waiting to hit the 3 month mark so we can apply to join Vanguard overall. The Glades of Decay event looks GREAT btw!!! The hubs main is Ochaba-he can be found in Org handing out food, cooking, and setting up feasts-just trying to facilitate a little more walk-up <3 He comes from Feathermoon back in the day and craves that old school RP, so we are trying to help that grow. MG is the place to be for any faction IMO.
Definitely check out The Horde Vanguard if you’re looking for Pro-Horde faction based RP great group of people with an amazing set of guilds.
Horde RPers always show up to soup eating contests.
They can’t get enough.
Oh man, if theres a Noodle Cart? Not even the Sunwell can keep me away!
We have taken out so many of them just by leaving noodles on the ground. They’ll eat it. They don’t care.
