Armory profiles have always been public, and always will be. People seem to think that if they hide their profile on the forums, it affects the armory. It’s just a one-click operation on the forums, versus 2-3 clicks and some typing on the browser.

The kinda people that complain about this usually arent the type to PVP. Either that or Mythic Raiders who use it as a talking point to get ML back.

You have a 440 and a 415, why are you complaining? Only way ur getting better is by doing M+ spam or a lucky warforge. Whats more likely to net u that higher offhand? rng on a single daily reward or a spammable method?

Many people know, some don’t. The First item you get from conquest is a 415 weapon.

And before a whole bunch of alliance jump in going “we never win BG’s!” that’s false. Weekday evenings, in my experience alliance win more than horde. I first started trying to do random bg’s as horde. Was losing 75% of my games. Someone mentioned I should merc. So did that, then I was winning 75% of my games.

Note, this seems to flip morning/afternoon where horde win most of the bg’s.

So when I’m only concerned about getting conquest: Merc as alliance weekday evenings, stay as horde weekend mornings.

Then, the faction assaults if you are in warmode give conquest. And no, many alliance who are going to jump in here, it is not 90% horde. Everytime I have done stormsong faction assault it’s always an alliance raid farming horde characters. But other times it’s usually pretty 50/50 in my (and a few coworkers who main alliance) experience. Shoot, most of the time I go to them both sides kind of leave each other alone.

So don’t be afraid. Don’t take everything people say on these forums to heart. It’s not as dire as some vocal people here make it out to be.
