So as a hardcore alliance player I was just curious how badly modern horde players will miss being paladin in classic ? or even just having them for there awesome buffs
female goblin dance is horde’s greatest loss…let’s not kid ourselves here.
Good riddance. Half-naked heathens who make ritual practice of shaking chicken bones around a campfire should not have righteous crusaders of law and light. It just ain’t right.
Well if we get Classic TBC I’ll be going BE Pally but I’ll be more than ok until than if even at all.
What he said.
I’m indifferent, honestly. I never had any attachment to the Paladin class, so there’s that.
Can’t wait, the pink bois are back where they belong shaman are much more badass
I can say I don’t look forward of shaman/paladin tier dropping and it just being used for a enchanting mats.
Back the way it should be. Nothing against Paladins specifically, but they are not a Horde class.
God forbid one realm gets something another doesn’t.
I actually can’t believe WoW mirrored everything when WPvP was basically dead so early on when games like DAoC had unique classes for each 3 realms and way more than just 1 in a game that was almost exclusively WPvP focused.
The uniqueness of the realms is what made classic so cool, homogenization cucked everything. BFA is an expansion about the horde vs alliance war and no one really cares about realm pride or even cares enough to PvP in warmode on if it might make the wq they are doing take 30 seconds longer.
Paladins made us weaker and made us forgot our roots and connection with the world
As a horde player for YEARS. I’ll just switch to alliance to be a defender of Light and Justice.
Not at all, imo.
The vanilla alliance paladin is very cut/paste paladin fantasy. What I love about the blood knight’s is that it’s such a unique spin on the idea of the paladin. They are kind of anti-paladins really. The Sunwalkers are also really cool lore wise.
But I also think that let everyone do everything, and not adding enough differentiation between the factions and classes was what made retail so problematic so I’m also happy about losing them as well.
How do you feel about no more Shamans?
I’m sure we’ll manage fine without paladins on the Horde, as that is how it was in the original version of the game. Some people might be surprised as they might not have known about such a feature, but will eventually come to understand.
Warrior AOE tanking wasn’t what it is now…should be interesting to see how DPS reverts back to “wait for 3 sunders” before attacking…especially large AOE pulls.
Won’t happen (except possibly for tier 0).
If they drop for you in raids, they’ll be BoE, sell them on the neutral AH.
Alliance - no more shaman.
This is my biggest hangup because the first toon I ever made and the one I’ve played the most over the years is Shaman, but I’m leaning Alliance. Shaman is the one thing that might make me ultimately decide Horde. Maybe.
