8Straight losses in AV, to the Horde in Classic anniversary in less than 6 minutes each. What the fudge is going on? The odds of this are nutso!

Alliance max honor per hour is to kill LTs and let horde win.

The ā€˜exploitā€™ has always been there to kite Vanā€™s Marshals and kill Van.

Alliance have two separate ways to evade bug warmasters, even though nearly no one knows about them, and also a way to kite them away to kill Drek.

The problem is that, in a dead sprint without defense, horde will reach Van before Ally reach Drek. This would be less true if Alliance went left of Balinda, but that risks a huge clash, so people donā€™t do it.

Anyway, enjoy your 4.5k honor per loss. Thirty minute games will be back during the week.

Lets just cap towers and kill lieutenants and commanders, 10minute loss, best per hour for alliance.

I agree. You could try to replace the 1500 honor from AV weekend with the 800 honor from towers. This would be equitable for horde as well because theyā€™d have time to do towers and LTs.

Unfortunately, you have to convince people to not clash mid, which is an impossible task.

Even I eat the horde tail in mid and camp IBGY outside of AV weekend.

ally honor per hour is HIGHER than horde with ally losing every game.

Which means one enterprising 5 man could go in there and inflate their honor per hour by killing LTs while the rest zerg Van.

Which I hear some do, and I would do if I was playing horde.

Horde marshal kite is alot easier than the alliance warmaster kite

Its not really an exploit. Just a mutual agreement that pvping is less honor per hour.

Basically blameā€™s AVā€™s horrid design.

P.S : You get more honor than Horde despite losing, its the funny part lol. AV is that broken.

The real issue is that theres no good way to redesign AV where it rewards actually PVP play. The BG literally rewards you for pveing as much and as fast as possible. Youre quite literally punished for pvping

in an actual game that isnā€™t AV weekend and you arenā€™t letting us win, we donā€™t even make it to SPGY before our whole base is contested so the cave is kind of irrelevant. not saying that the cave doesnā€™t make the distance shorter but it is less than alliance complain about and it gets fixed

also if this weekend has shown anything is that 1 fear is all it takes to completely wipe the horde at Vann

hard for 5 people to kill LTā€™s when there are 5-10 alliance that are farming HK around there.

I just ran over 100 games of AV and have seen this maybe 5 times out of all of those games.

We gank there, not alliance. That is there first meeting with the horde so they donā€™t clash. We will pick off the slower mounts 99% of the time if not killing LTS.

Hordes major problem is toxicity. If you ask group 1 to go to LTS they will not do it out of spite but if 1 lone ranger goes down and grabs an LT then 15 people will go raging down the hill to parse on the LTS.

Hordes communication is 99% troll, the amount of bans people get for just defending themselves in chat against these trolls is crazy high. You canā€™t say anything in av chat now or it gets mass reported and you catch autoban after so many reports.

Trying to direct horde to Maximum honor output basically gets you mass reported for 20 games and you catch a ban.

this really comes off as an alliance troll. I too have been running AV all weekend and watched as we all run past every alliance we see at SHGY unless they dismount someone for free kills.

I am an advicate for 5 people attempting to kill LTs for more honor the problem is that you ask 5 to do LTs 15 show up and then we wipe north because tehre is not enough people.

The only toxicity I saw pretty much all weekend was teh normal Nightslayer hate for Dreamscythe players

That is part of the toxicity. PVE server people are generally terrible at pvp but they are the ones always yapping in chat.

If youā€™re on a pve server you shouldnā€™t be allowed to call pvp strats out tbh. If youā€™re afraid of world pvp thatā€™s completely fine but they shouldnā€™t be screaming at people for trying to kill LTS or not going north and its always a pve serv guy yelling in chat

that is BS, there are plently of people on DS who have pvpā€™d all their lives and know that World PVP is mostly a waste of time and a joke. its almost never a fair fight and Skill is rarely the defining attribute.

I play DS, I started my wow journey on Eredar a PVP server, I hit R11 on my shadow priest and laughed at warriors in 1v1, I ran with a pvp guild who pushed multiple R14s, I have Lead BG groups to victory many times in all 3 BGS.

Your ignorance is showing.

people who chose DS probably just want to casually level in peace and do their PVP in BGs.

All that being said I have seen some terrible Nightslayer PVPers who fight on roads, tunnel vision 2 warriors while a healer stands 3 ft from them free casting, sit there and watch someone cap a GY flag without a second thought to intercept ressers. and wouldnt know how to peel a dps off thier healer if their life depended on it.

these days at 43 years old I could care less about PVP and my kid chose DS without knowing any difference in the servers. stop being an elitest jerk, a good strat is a good strat regardless where it comes from

Nightslayer PVE-gods in AV are just as bad if not worst than DS LOL - server is pretty irrelevant, itā€™s all bad lol
(and to be fair Iā€™ve seen some insane DS gamers - some ppl roll DS if they have a main on NS on the other faction)

Nah if you rolled pve server it was literally to avoid world pvp. That aint a pvpā€™r my dude no matter how loud you scream it @ the real pvpā€™rs.

Iā€™m not saying a PVE server guy canā€™t be good at pvp but so far what I have seen that is 1000% the case. PVE serv just doesnā€™t hold up to a pvp server when it comes to pvp.

None of this matters. You rolled pve to avoid world pvp literally the best part of fresh classic.

R14 is just a time grind now. You can literally afk it. R14 today does not mean skill.

ā€œAvoiding world pvpā€. Exactly what I said youā€™re just wording it differently to fit your agenda. If you guys are afraid of getting ganked while leveling I completely get that, however that leads to sub par pvp skills as you didnā€™t ever have to learn to defend yourself.

PVP server, STVietnam head on a swivvel bud or you got smoked.

I pvp literally every day. I am speaking from experience not some biased opinion.

There are some absolute potatoes on Nightslayer. I mean down right awful pvpā€™rs. I am talking about overall, a broad scope.

PVP server will always have better pvpā€™rs than a PVE server its just a fact of gaming.

that is your opinion and you are welcome to it, but PVP was and always has been an afterthought in wow, sorry to burst your ever so thin skin

TBH it was only a time grind then too and most if not all R14s in OG wow had to cheat in some way to get it, doesnt change the amount of BGs I played in my youth

lol you think having your head on a swivel matters in STV when the lvl range is like 20 levels, you are so pvp braindead its hilarious

of course it will have the majority of good pvper you half wit, that doesnt change the fact that tehre are skillfull pvpers on PVE server
