Horde need powerful leaders in this dumb war

Like the alliance, the reason I’m even posting this is because from a horde POV none of our leaders are capable of taking on any alliance leader 1v1. Anything showing otherwise (like Nathanos vs Tyrande) is just bad and they should feel bad for writing that.

This is actually embarrassing for a horde player to see. The screen from dark shore could have made us horde feel scared and in the defensive of Tyrande KILLED Nathanos right there and obliterated his corpse. Then turned to the PC and spared us due to us to make up for us not killing Mal with Saurfang.

Anyways, who the horde could use to gain a legit power up are two characters.

One is Kael’thas. Yes he is dead I understand that. So was Guldan at one point as well, so whose to say Kael’thas can’t run away from the alternate universe that was created due to WoD and that timelines orcs never invaded Azeroth. Kael’thas not only is a powerful mage but a warrior.

However Kael’thas isn’t enough. Jains atm can 1v1 Kael and the that by itself isn’t very fair for the horde and the plot armor our boring leaders have. I mean it seems like our only leaders are Nathanos and Sylvanas sadly. So who would be enough to a least give the horde a legit power boost to even stand on the same foundation that the alliance are on?

Queen Azshara. Yes she is evil and only cares about herself, so does many leaders like Sylvanas. Whose to say after we beat her pet old god and her into a corner that she decided to join her kin the nightborne? Maybe she realizes true power is ruling all of Azeroth and sees the horde as a vessel to do it?

Before you comment I want you to think of the leaders for each faction.

Alliance have…
Jaina (super mage)
Velen (super priest)
Alduin (warrior of light)
Alleria (super void archer)
Turylion (super paladin with laser sword)
Tyrande (death incarnate)
Mal (super Druid)
Mechakkatorque (literally a iron man suit)
Genn (werewolf)

Those are just their leaders. Let be realistic, the forsaken would get destroy by an army of werewolves.

As for the horde our heavy hitters are…
Sylvanas (demon powered archer)
Liadrin (nice paladin)
Thalyssra (mage but no we’re near jaina)
Princess Talanji (is she strong without Rezen?)

That’s it? Think about it, what exactly can Lorthemar, Baine, Mayla and Gillywax bring to the table in terms of raw power? Not just being a normal archer or warrior. I mean a combination or just one sided power house in magic or physical combat.

Sure you can make the argument that Thrall can come back, that’s power right? Well the same can be said for Khadgar and his return.

Besides raw powerful leaders the alliance also have powerful weapons like the army of lights ship with a hammer of dawn as its hood ornament, or the gnomes mechs that can turn their humans into space marines.

That’s not counting the elves that can call on the wild and literally turn into animals, sure horde can too but night elves has that mastered to a tee. Then the are literally half man half wolf half bear (jk) but freaking werewolves in armor that could most likely stand up to an orc. Sure undead never tire that’s good I guess and it seems like that’s all we have. Shaman like zappybio are scarce.

Looking at it from this point of view the horde starting this war is simply stupid and no leader who has any brain whatsoever would go along with Sylvanas. The horde even with azerite can’t possibly fight the alliance back. All I see every cinematic where Nathanos talks is just plot armor if made into a character.

I get Azerite is what started the events to unfold faster than Sylvanas planned but still, blood elves already created nukes what more did you need? Azerite feels like it was made to give the horde an upper hand in a one sided war. Sure it’s nice to shoot sparkles and do massive damage I mean it was cool when Gogeta did it but thinking one since material can even compare to the current alliance power along with them having the same exact material but not as much is more crap plot armor trash I don’t need feed to me when I wash my feet.

Its sad but you’re not wrong, in terms of raw power from the lore; Malfurion & jaina can destroy the horde let alone them with tyrande who is now infused with elune & velen . The only part the horde have in terms of raw power is sylvanas, thalyssra & talanji two of which are no where close in power. The horde has always been weaker in terms of power lore wise after thrall left; which is why everyone is pissed off that this is going on.

Making us look strong is such a joke. We’ve lost all of our decent leaders, and of those we have left, they aren’t comparable to the Alliance. And yet somehow we’re winning? Yeah, that’s awful writing. Blizzard should feel bad about the writing this expansion more than any previous one because it’s unacceptably poor in quality.

That said, we don’t have anyone to get. The Nightborne would never side with Queen Azshara; Kael’thas is dead in our world and the path to alternate Draenor is closed so we can’t go pluck one up there like we did for Gul’dan; most of the current Horde races don’t have any other options, and neither do our potential allied races (ogres, Vulpera, etc).

The Alliance should have won this war before it started due to the Vindicar. And if not that, the Exodar is also fixed up and ready to go. They have two enormous space ships capable of firing sky lasers and yet they aren’t being used for #reasons. It’s such a freaking joke of a story that I can’t even bother myself to following it anymore.

Strong leaders on the Horde, would mean the writing could get better for the Alliance. They wouldn’t have to constantly make the Alliance characters look dumb by forgetting about things to even it out.

If the Alliance was written to their potential, the war would be over in hours. Make the Horde a real threat to the Alliance and the writing can improve for both sides.

Right now the Horde survival (and any “winning”) relies on bad writing. Which is needed to combat the bad writing of stacking the sides.

People seriously overestimate how powerful the Vindicaar is. It blew a hole in a wall. It barely has “orbital” bombardment capabilities because it does actually need to be somewhat near the target. Those spaceships go down pretty easy. A Legion mob threw a fel rock at one and it crashed lol.

It’s pretty powerful dude. It blow a hole in a space metal wall on low battery…

Jaina blew a hole in a wall with a magic ghost ship. They don’t need the Vindicaar when they have the most OP Mage in the game.

Dude, it’s fine, you guys have Ion and most of the Dev team.

You can’t have more powerful leaders than that.

Would make things interesting tbh. Give Gallywix a huge mech made out of tech from everything you can think of. Gnomish, Titan, you name it. Make Baine…to be honest wtf is Baine even?

It’s embarrassing to play the faction that is babied this bad in lore.

Just stop with this crap. This thread is about as close as it gets. By the end of expansion we going to be down to just two. Then what alliance going to complain about. Thrall is no longer powerful. Do shamans opening. See how much he has been reduced. I really hate people come here and try to force their twisted views on others.

His power retired when Metzen did.

Missing the point or being sarcastic. Not sure what. Thrall was equal in power to alliance. Now he been neutered by writers. Making horde never have someone as powerful as alliance.

[/quote]or he can keep bumping my thread  I did put so though into it and wouldn’t like it buried without a decent discussion.

Dude, I’m Horde and have played Alliance.

Originally, the Alliance were supposed to be a controlling force in opposition to the Horde - AKA when they stepped out of bounds, the Alliance booted them back down.

That’s out the window.

TBF Jaina wouldn’t be anywhere near as powerful if she wasn’t wielding the staff of Antonidas fused with the power of Lei Shen

all you need is THRALL The most powerful Shaman ever.

He just needs to get his Mojo back and take back Warchief.
