Horde lost the war in Grobb; Alliance must balance teams for Mists

As I’m starting to see new record high Token prices, I’ve gathered that not even ZA and ZG are going to keep us around. As the rest of all other Cata content packages will be PvE-oriented, TB’s run will soon be at an end.

I was not pleased with the Horde’s performance the last eight weeks, particularly in Tol Barad, and decided it’s not worth my time to keep doing TB dailies for much longer.

I’m pulling out of the war. It’s enough that I got handsomely rich doing it, and only enough that I have funds to continue playing for the road ahead.

The most important issue would be manpower; despite the claims of “50/50” population balance, I would have given it 80/20, in Alliance’s favor, for actual WPvP mobilization. As I already had an Alliance toon first back in Wrath, I did all that one Hordie could do, but it was not enough to reliably win skirmishes and overturn camp raids. City raids also were greatly lessened than before. I have even suffered embarrassing defeats in some 1v1’s.

My resolution to the problem: Grobb Alli must volunteer to switch sides in order to preserve WPvP for the future. If not, there won’t be any WPvP to speak of in the advent of Classic Mists, arguably the best PvP expansion of all time. So while I readily accept Grobb Alli as the victor for Cata, at the same time plans need to be made quickly to switch factions by next year. With TWW and SoD, I can understand if it doesn’t happen sooner rather than later, but Grobb is not far from being a glorified carebear server. I didn’t spend untold years in Eonar to have it come to that.

In other words, you won this time, Alliance, but I want a rematch and some of you would have little choice but to be on my side. You can’t forget you’re on Classic for a reason, that you’re on a PVP SERVER for a reason. Such would bear congruence that you MUST keep WPvP alive. It’s literally poaching at this point and it needs to stop so that the Hunt continues on…

I retired from Retail strictly to do WPvP full time, and I would be greatly disappointed if I was let down by a RPPVP server of all others on Classic. Grobb, your integrity as a RPPvP, which that type was reputed to have the best WPvP, is on display. I do not want to jump ship for Whitemane just yet, as I would have to uproot much of what I’ve planted. Show me you still have the likes of ED and WrA.

Mayor and Rally’s need to form a new guild and move to Faerelina alliance and really stoke the flames of war with a huge imbalance now on that server.

Yes. The war is not meant to be won but to be…

Continuous.

In the meantime we’ll do what we can.

I aint playing as the Grobb we got now aint the Grobb from Classic to WOTLK.

Server transfers and PVP and ONLY PVP andies with toxic af attitudes killed off the vibes of Grobb as well as the RP scene on Horde. Add in Blizz getting a W with War Within and the major RP guilds going to Retail, I see no reason to come back.

inb4 MUH PVP ON PVP SERVER!! I dont think alliance realize thant1 vs 10+ alliance zergs then camping ppl isnt pvp, that’s just a curbstomping. You’re just gonna make the population problem worse and turn grobb into the desolate 1 faction hellholes yall transferred out of.
