I’m lvling a horde char in Grob and I’m having a blast.
As a nearly lvl 40 shaman i’ve seen there’s people grouping for low lvl dungeons (Not all the time, but you’ll mostly find people lfg) I have already done RFC, RFK, SFK, SM GY|LIB|ARM multiple times.
Lvling has been very fun, I didn’t have any trouble finding horde players around a zone for elite quests or hard ones. I’ve also encountered some alliance for low lvl wpvp in Ashenvale and Stranglethorn which is great.
Most popular lvling zones have plenty of people to party with if help is needed for questing (Ashenvale, Tarren Mill, STV, Ghostlands, The Barrens)
So far so good, lvling as a horde in Grob feels very alive and active.
Haven’t tried out end game content but LFG chat is always spamming ppl for end game. Also very active in creating wpvp events.
If you like a PVP and you are horde you for sure have to come here. If you also like a mix of both gameplays pvp and pve this server looks awesome.
I’m an alliance re-roll and been horde for 3 weeks and its been a blast. Always stuff going on. I also play with an EST schedule and didn’t take long to find a raiding guild. Lots of PUG’s out there too.
It would be worth it for more horde transfers to check it out imo.
man i was really hoping i could post a photo or link here but i cant… but there is a post on reddit classiswow promoting grobb that has this photo. it shows that all the servers eligible to transfer to grobb and their current horde and alliance numbers (data set 35).
According to that data, if we get at least half of the horde to transfer. grobb will be balanced. even if the alliance on the dead servers below come…and they should since they have no where free to go. i still discourage any paid alliance transfer to grobbulus.
PvP in Outland in general has been fire recently. Hellfire is literally a warzone and the objectives are constantly fought over 24/7. Spirit towers in Terokkar have also been hot. Very fun.
Hopefully the Horde join up from the dying realms.
If you’re worried about the experience and server, I’ll tell you that an RP-PvP server is pretty fun. Just don’t be obnoxious to RPers, don’t be an over the top edge lord memer and have fun in wpvp and you’ll have a blast.
I used to do strictly PvP servers, did RP ones but found RP-PvP is the best if you’re able to be a decent player and person.
Sad to see servers flop because Blizzard could care less.
From the looks of these sudden changes might be Microsoft this time with their business suggestion, especially if its trying to migrate more Horde to Grobbulus to 50/50 it.
