I too am a fan of The Rake! I strongly suggest doing what you must to get him the minute you can. (he’s a level 10 rare) Make a /target The Rake macro and run around spamming it or just keep an eye out for the only cat with an obvious mane. I always used the fastest attack speed pet available to me for PvP and a Bear for PvE/solo’ing. That’s just me. Your mileage may vary.
This character still has the boar I tamed and leveled up with back in Vanilla and I had to go to Westfall to get the color I wanted. True, I collected way cooler pets later on, and later switched to using the rare crab from Molten Front as my own personal tank but I’ve still got a soft spot for good old Porc.

Speaking of Horde-only pets, what about the red crab that only appears during a quest in the old silithid hives south of Camp Taurajo that was where the Horde and Alliance fortresses are now in post-Cata? And are you sure you want Azzere? He has ‘caster stats’. That’s going to be a thing again, ugh. I didn’t exactly miss that.

Horde get all the summoned pet quests, Echee, The Rotams, The Crab and Arikara. Arikara is the one I mean to get not Azzere. This is a horde summoned pet that will forever appear in a cloud of smoke and a lighting strike!
It was a slow attacking cat one of the few.

Boar is also a noteworthy end game soloing pet if you are doing Maraudon runs solo.
