Horde Helping in Gilneas Reclamation

So in the coming days, the process of purging Gilneas of the Scarlet Crusade’s presence will begin. Now there has been talk of why the Horde would help out and there are reasons for at least some Horde to show up.

Orcs/Mag’har: Honestly just want a fight, and I don’t think many will pass up the chance to kill a bunch of bigoted humans

Trolls, Tauren, Highmountain: Involved through Cenarion Circle

Forsaken: Some will want to make amends while others will come just to help with ……“clean up” of the Scarlet Crusade remains

Pandas: Obviously

Zandalari: Possibly through the Cenarion circle (not sure if Zandalari ever joined up)

Dracthyr: Still kinda new to all this so I’m not sure about them.

From there, the only ones I don’t expect to see are Goblins, Sin’dorei, and Shal’dorei since I don’t know of any connection or major incentive for them, aside from the ones that just want to help out of course. No doubt that some individuals will feel a certain way about it and won’t want to assist but that is to be expected. All in all, I think we can expect a considerably large turnout horde side.

The horde will help because by the end of the day every wow character is just a sellsword looking for material rewards in exchange for their application of violence

For every single complaint about the Horde helping we shall add another horde npc to aide Gilneas in its retaking.

I mean we did help the horde in Undercity so I don’t see the difference really.

Forsaken have an Alliance-leaning puppet installed in their leadership, so of course the interests of the Alliance and Forsaken (and therefore, Horde) would align here.

Yea the writting is silly . Will Gilneas become an actual functioning city? Or is that later?

Sure hope so, it’s been abandoned for far too long.

:eye::eye: I see what you did there.

I’m hoping in reclaiming Gilneas we can finally reclaim Lordaeron for the Alliance and put those undead back in the grave.

But I’m enjoying being topside again :frowning:

We know that we’re all going to be one big happy Alliance faction soon anyway, right?

…We all know that’s where the story is headed, right?

Both sides are assisting in Undercity going back to the Lordaeron Forsaken as well as Gilneas going back to the Gilneans and Gilnean Worgen. Undercity was a clandestine effort but still a joint effort.

Team-building exercises like this are good.

Don’t care, I’ll be happy when the last Horde monster is in the dirt where they belong.

Many Gilneans were raised into Forsaken by the Val’kyr, and they are probably a little more than just eager to see their home restored. Just as the council let the Darkfallen Kaldorei return home, and how many Forsaken actually did want to defect in Arathi, I can see even more departures from this.

If this isn’t mentioned at all, I’ll call it a waste.

I realize this hyperaggresion is your “thing” on the forum, but its a little weird man.

Ah, sorry. Perhaps I ought to tone it down.

This right here.

Ngl,at first I was kind of ticked off about Undercity thing but over time on diff characters became alright with that.

With the new NE area, I’m okay with having helped there.Mainly because I wasn’t around at the time of the tree incident. Hence why didn’t mind helping with the new tree.

From the sound of things Forsaken will be keeping part of UC so all in all I don’t mind helping with Gilneas. I’ve always thought even on my Worgen that it should be active again and will hopefully make it easier for new Worgen to get in and out of the city before level 20 something.

The Horde helping reclaim Gilneas is beyond stupid. Why help the bigoted humans reclaim a stronghold within striking distance of Undercity?

Garrosh is rolling in his grave. Pathetic Horde.

Only a small minority of Tauren are Druids and only a small minority of those Tauren Druids are full fledged members of the Cenarion Circle as opposed to just being very loosely affiliated.
Also the Cenarion Circle probably isn’t going to break their neutrality and spend resources helping a partisan faction reclaim a city of stone. Not really their MO.

All your justifications require mental gymnastics but that Cenarion Circle one in particular got on my nerves.
