I last played during Legion. I was not here for the BFA pre-patch (just returned 2 days ago, got a month…not entirely sure if I’m going to return full time or not, we’ll see). I have not picked up Shadowlands yet (still deciding).
Anyway…here’s the issue. The heirloom vendor (and other Forsaken refugees) have not moved to the top of the Orgrimmar gate like they’re supposed to. It is no longer possible to complete the Battle for Lordaeron quest chain (that was only part of the BFA launch event as far as I know).
I have progressed a ways into BFA. I have the Welcome to Zandalar achievement. And I also hit 50, got the Dying World quest, got my Heart of Azeroth (along with 3 pieces of azerite gear by now). Undercity is a green mess…still no vendor on top of Orgrimmar. Is this a bug or is there something else I need to do? I know I can still find Ziradormi and go to Undercity, but that is a huge hassle.
Odd. I’ve never heard of this. Considering everything though, you can always return to Undercity and put it in the past by talking to Zidormi. Doing that should make old UC pop up and you can go to the old location for the vendor and pick up heirlooms there.
Yeah I’m aware of that, that’s why I mentioned it. That is a LOT of hassle compared to going to Orgrimmar though. If it was stictly tied to Battle for Lordaeron, then it would affect everyone that wasn’t here for the BFA pre-launch event.
It is on Orgrimmar. Over the main gate entrance (also over the portal room)
Heirlooms have been nerfed, no longer giving XP % bonus but RESTED XP bonus. Not worth it. They are also weaker then green quest gear.
No. The vendor is not there. That is my problem. I know it’s supposed to be there.
It was a change for BFA, maybe something to do with the Campaign. But as Shadina said, you can go to Undercity zone and talk to Zirdoni to play the old Undercity. You can see a Cloud text mark on the map to find her
I am also having this problem of finding the Heirloom vendor in Orgrimmar. I haven’t played since MoP and picked WoW back up during the Shadowlands pre-patch event
This was actually partly fixed in a hotfix last week. You have to finish the BFA intro to get into the right phase to see them.
That said, Grommash Hold is still phased incorrectly after this, and at least one Forsaken NPC is missing from there. It’s not 100% fixed and I submitted another bug report.
