Horde Dwarves

Yeah… overweight night elves. Great. Just give it to normal nelves then.

That’s a matter of opinion. I think they look good, I hope we get them playable but we also had good looking deer girls, Jinyu, and gilblins and didn’t get any of them. So I won’t hold my breath.

inb4 Horde Only

It’s fine, we’ll be getting Alliance Forest Trolls in Midnight as compensation.

If it makes you feel any better the alliance dwarves are infinitely better than Earthen. Fireblood and Stoneform are leagues better than whatever Earthen get.

I was thinking hands but I do see they are a little chubby. Even the male has a few changes. :mag::robot:

Maybe, the design of their leader would fit in either side. :8ball::robot:

Yeah earthen racials seem horrible :joy: I was happy to see that.

Could you please stop showing me these pictures? As I said, I find them to be extremely ugly.

Aside from the fact that it would once again be an Alliance model for the Horde without a Horde model for the Alliance. It’s slowly adding up. Night elves, female humans, dwarves, possibly night elves again… plus five neutral Alliance locations… and in contrast, there’s only the blood elf model and one neutral Horde location. So, it’s slowly becoming… well, you know.

Same reason we have multiples of all the others that have multiples, because somewhere , they decided more multiples of a handful of races neeed more, such as also Tauren and Highmountains.

Sorry, i’m still very eager to learn more about them. :robot::sweat_drops:

Perhaps something in Kezan from the Goblin Raid? Likely it won’t be pretty. :8ball::robot:

ALTHOUGH it would be great to give the alliance a race that could be involved with the Loa. :robot::thought_balloon:

I think the biggest favor would be to introduce a new group of Vulpera for the Alliance. Back then, I felt that the hype came more from the Alliance than from the Horde for such a cutsie mainstream race.

Personally, I would prefer Tauren for the Alliance. They would also be a good counterpart to Dwarves, at least in my opinion.

Goblins are essentially neutral anyway, at least in the lore. Some already live in the Alliance and work against the Horde. So, it would be quite simple.

A faction of Nightborne would also make sense. It was foolish not to make them neutral. The same goes for Mechagnomes, Lightforged Draenei, and Highmountain Tauren.

I remember a quest where you help a group of Trolls in Stormwind, so that would surely work too.

But of course, the simplest solution would be to make all races neutral right away, instead of creating so many cheap recolors. :dracthyr_shrug:

Well these are not 1st or 2nd cousins. It would be like us wanting to get together with the Neanderthals.

We needed a race that can make a dent in the blood elf numbers, that’s what makes it perfect for the horde. :robot::+1:

That was Vol’jin’s warning that the Gurubashi will assault Stormwind. :email::robot:

Could that work for Last Titan with the Taunka? :world_map::robot:

Doesn’t mean you have to keep them as family. No one is required to interact or stay in touch with people simply because they are part of the same bloodline.

Also what about when the blood elves joined the horde? The alliance already had elves.

That’s pretty judgmental. Also, not all horde sleep in mud huts. That’s pretty obvious.

I think you guys are taking the family comment too far, but I mean obviously they have to share some sort of ancestry with dwarves, so the Alliance makes the most sense. Why would the “earthen” split themselves into two separate factions, and then be pitted against each other inevitably? I never understood why the pandas did it either.

Don’t take it personal. Sheesh.

I’m not taking it personal, just pointing out things that are obviously untrue.

As far as pandaren go, they are individuals and have zero attachment to either the horde or alliance. If you do the starting zone for them, then NPC pandaren split up between the two factions and give their reasons as to why.

I haven’t looked into the earthen really, but I assume it’s a similar situation.

While I’m still opposed to a third, very cheap Dwarf recolor variant, the idea that a race has different ways of thinking is natural. Blizzard’s outdated and questionable racial segregation concept for the two factions, on the other hand, is anything but natural and portrays the races as if they all suffer from a hivemind mentality.

We’re not. Dwarves (AND Dark Iron Dwarves) get the most powerful racial ability in the game:
Removes all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleed effects

Earthen don’t, because “we’d rather you just not play Horde” is Blizzard’s stance on everything.

Another reason to make all races neutral btw. On one hand, it would be nice if one could freely choose the aesthetics of the races without feeling compelled to choose a specific faction, as seems to be the case with you, presumably concerning the Alliance. On the other hand, it would solve the issue with racials for PvE and PvP.

Making all races neutral doesn’t fix it, I’m stuck on this damn dwarf because Blizzard started making Mythic raid mechanics removable with stoneform.

And they KEEP doing it. It wasn’t an error; it’s intentional.
