Horde Druids

This is what i half expect near the end of the expansion. I don’t see another being planted, but i see efforts being made to heal Teldrassil, or at least further protection of it while it heals.

Another world tree would mean another tree that needs to be blessed and protected. I don’t think the green aspects or the druids want this. The other thing is i don’t even know if the dragon aspects have enough power to bless another tree like they did Teldrassil.

Also, my speculation is that the 5 world trees are the ‘5 keys’, so another world tree would nullify that completely. I’m biased against it haha.

Ok, good to know that N’zoth have done it. Corrupted? I dunno for me Xavius never really changed his personality.

Yea I don’t think he was changed, personality wise, he was always an overambitious evil power monger.

I’m quite certain that Teldrassil is charcoal at the moment, she is not coming back. I would like to see a new tree planted, one that is even greater than Teldrassil.

Blessed properly this time.

We’re going to find our that N’Zoth somehow corrupted the tree and only Sylvanas was somehow able to see it. Sylvanas saved the NE’s and all she gets is their anger and them wanting the Horde out of the Cenarion circle. Horde should just start a peace pipe circle to counter act the Cenarion Circle. :stuck_out_tongue:

No it’s not.

Saronite and how it was stopped:

Saronite is an element associated with the Old God Yogg-Saron. It first appeared across Azeroth around the year -4,500 in areas in Ashenvale, Crystalsong Forest, Feralas, Duskwood, and the Hinterlands but was eradicated with the help of Fandral Staghelm.

The Nightmare came to be, but does not work the same as saronite.

Yogg-Saron had used the trees planted by Fandral as a doorway into the Dream - a doorway through which the other Old Gods could grasp the ethereal domain and well. Small seeds of corruption were spread throughout Ysera’s realm. In time, these seeds polluted the dreamways. This marked the beginning of what would become known as the Emerald Nightmare.

The Dream already had life and species and holds the spirits of animals and the Wild Gods are linked to it. It has life on its own. It doesn’t need druids for that. No one holds it up.

No they don’t.

No it won’t.

Oh, I wasn’t speaking of personality. I was just talking about how he was twisted into the Nightmare Lord physically.

Why would you want to add weakness?

You’re literally contradicting yourself and your links. Saronite is old god corruption its all the same. It does no matter who or where it comes from. I mean its not like there’s a whole dungeon or major raid that displays the influence druids have… wait…

I’m not contradicting anything. Yes, it’s Old God corruption, but it doesn’t work the same way. You don’t plant a tree and stop the Nightmare. That only worked with the spread of saronite. That was my point.

Already edited before your reply, it’s N’zoth and Xavius for Teldrassil.

Xavius’ corruption held on for centuries. It took both Ysera’s and Alexstrasza’s intervention to purge it in Stormrage, and even then there were still lingering remnants.

The “nightmare dragons” were only a small portion of Ysera’s flight. If you were refering to the Dragons of Nightmare quad, they were only her lieutenants. The green dragonflight is still alive and well and guarding the portal ways aka the Great Trees, and can still be found in the Emerald Dreamway and the Emerald Dream (which you’ll also see ingame in 8.2). The remaining nightmare dragonflight were also purified along with the Dream at the end of the raid in Legion.

False. I quote: " The Emerald Dream represents how would have been if intelligent beings had not altered its surface". The night elves with their druidic magic fall under this category. The Great Trees do not have a Dream presence/form in the Emerald Dream, as they were created by mortal races. Nor is the Dream somehow weaker in areas where there have been great loss of life and vegetatin such as the Barrens and Desolace.

You say potato, I say…
Same thing. He opened the way using the Great Trees, and sowed the seeds for what would grow into the Emerald Nightmare.

I’m also sad moo :cow:

I’ll always love my druid brothers, even if I get exiled

Just an easy grab

You’re quoting is false, as its not known exactly how Freya created the dream, if it existed before hand, or what it looks like in its natural state. Yogg-Saron and N’zoth are not potato… Potato.

Rhielle is right. Saronite was on the physical Azeroth. While it could corrupt PHYSICAL living beings around it, it still couldn’t affect the Dream as they were on different planes.

The corruption of the Dream only came BECAUSE the Great Trees opened the way.

Right and the corruption left the rift in the dream which is permanent. Again that was my point.

Influence over what? Druids were corrupted and in the Nightmare. I don’t even understand what you’re saying here.

We cleansed the Nightmare from the Dream-- more or less. Spirits live within the Dream. The Dream itself isn’t influenced or held up by druids.

This is a good short explanation to clear confusion on the difference.

I didn’t say it was held up by druids brah. I said it was lifted up by druids and life. Again I can only speak to what is evident as its not known how the dream was before freya got to it or if it existed before she got to it.
Where there is no life physically, there is no life in the dream.

I quoted Wowgamepedia, which gives actual sources unlike you. I also have the actual physical copies of the War of the Ancients Trilogy by Richard Knaak that says the same thing.

Where are YOU getting your sources from?
