Horde druids forever doomed to be big and chunky forever

As long as they make some cool forms and a mostly believable backstory I’m fine with a lot of races picking up Druid, especially since Ally needs another Druid choice over here. I have heard a lot of good points for dwarf and mecha and new AR too.

Not fine with Blizz just making Vulp or BE druids because of some bizzare uwu smol fetish.

Night Elves and Worgen are large as well.

I don’t think BE druids are a uwu fetish. Considering their history and their goal after the Sunwell was destroyed, learning druidism isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. Considering the scar isn’t going to be healed by arcane magic.

Sorry, the context of this thread and the wishes of the OP is why I grouped it under that umbrella, not all BE druid enthusiasts want it only for a small druid option.

That said I still think BE do not have the temperament for druidism, they are too much about controlling/enslaving/bending it to their will like the other schools of magic.

I could see that perspective of the blood elves we were introduced to in the Burning Crusade. But I think they have changed in temperament quite a bit. Lor’theomar and Liadrin helped out the Nightborne quite rapidly during Legion. And after Suramar was free they still offered aid and sympathized with Thalyssra and the Nightborne. I’ve seen a lot of growth subtly with the blood elves, even allowing Alleria to see the Sunwell when they could’ve denied her.

I think a sect of them inspired by the changes, the unwant of warmongering, and even in a sense of repentance for what happened to Teldarassil seeking out druidism in an attempt to learn and atone in someway.

I, for one, think we all should be chunky and muscular. Have you thought of how much stuff we carry in our bags? And we run pretty much 100% of the time we’re moving, so we’re hella fit yo.

That makes sense to me, maybe my thoughts on BE are a little outdated since I just hang over here on Ally… if we could see more of that repentance/change in game I’d be interested…

But I’m also human and don’t want them still out of spite/a grudge with some folks.

Ah well~ Someday I’ll mature <3

I’m considering just writing a large thread about it like the Vulpera Allied Race thread. Consolidate all the constant topics into one. Examples of growth and change in the Sin’dorei. Examples of how druidism in WoW has changed a lot since it was just Night Elves and Tauren. But I think my post count is to low for images n stuff. So I’ll get to it eventually.

I’d give it a read for sure, mega threads are always convent.

You’ll get your trust up soon~ Just read lots and throw hearts about freely ( until you run out D: )

Y’all are trippin if you think BE are justified getting any new classes before stock Humans do. Hell, with DHs, they already outshine human class availability, and human is supposed to be the ‘do-it-all-but-perhaps-not-the-best’ kind of racial selection. I repeat: BEs can be literally every class Human can, plus one more. That’s DUMB.

Stock Stormwind Humans are the ones that need to be able to access all other classes at this point, and KTs don’t count because you have to grind that nonsense out.

We got awesome new druid forms with zandalari… that is enough.

to be fair, what really keeps some of those from being those classes anyways? worgen are either night elfen druids or former lordaeron gilneans right? i’m sure several of those were probably ex priests of the light and at least some of the current lordaeron worgen should have been ex-paladins themselves since a good portion of the populace was turned and lordaeron was where paladins originated to begin with according to in game history. as for druids since the only real requirement is accessing the emerald dream (something non druids can do) and having a long history living in nature/having a deep connection to it, just about any race can be “druids” except maybe goblins and gnomes, since those races aren’t very “outdoorsy” to begin with and the fact that gnomes and goblins can be hunters blows my mind, though i suppose one goblin could have been like the french in the french indian war and realized trapped hunted furs go for a steady money supply.

Gilneas has nothing to do with Lordaeron. All playable worgen are from Gilneas and have nothing to do with night elves.

To repeat:

There are no playable worgen that came from Darnassus / Kalindor or Night Elf, for they are all from Gilneas, who had no relationship with Lordaeron a kingdom from which it was always independent and totally unlinked.

The night elves that are worgen are just frenzied npcs.

gilneas is still part of lordaeron geographically speaking, as lordaeron is the continent/country, not solely the city at it’s capital. my point was because gilneas is so close to lordaeron and a part of it, and seeing as the continent’s order of priests were the ones to become the first paladins, i’d find it weird if some of the mentally cured citizens of gilneas who became playable worgen weren’t paladins with the birth place of paladins being in such close proximity and part of it’s national heritage.

This is like saying that Mexico or Canada are part of the USA, geographically, and that should therefore be influenced by American culture.

And while Gilneas’ official religion is that of Luz, there was never a chance for its citizens to learn about being a paladin, even before Greymane’s isolation policy was applied.

I would rather be a Goldrinn paladin.

gnomes should transform into a bear:

like this, but with bears!

I like my horde druids chonky.

So it’s not enough the Zandalari forms are all new while KT has reskins?
Also we should really change it from Bear/Cat/Moonkin to Guardian/Feral/Balance form.

Blood elf druids :+1:

Night elves have the worst models in the game. The races that can be druid have prevented me from ever making one.
