How high do you estimate the Queue time to go up with recent changes?
I estimate well over 1 hour.

I estimate well over 1 hour.
If the changes prove to derail premades, significantly, but that will also rely on WSG being the better of the two.
The 3 changes seem like it points to a massive increase.
Number remove: May deter premades, reduces Alliance queuing
If premades persist, 5v40’s will end: Back to queue you go until you hit a premade or full pug (increases time)
I guess that depends.
Are you saying that relying on premade + exploit is why ally play AV? That would Sort of shoot holes in everything most of the ally players have been saying here.
Otherwise, I’m not sure why this would even impact an alliance player. You can group with 5 friends, just like horde, and have an instant queue.
Plus, due to the queues, you’re all still likely to end up with 20ish of your friends in an AV together.
Why is any of this an issue? I don’t get it.
This wont affect Alliance queue times. They will still be instant.
It will affect Alliance games In a way that i find hilarious. Diminishing returns on HK’s is reduced. Meaning the Horde is about to lay waste to the Alliance Pugs for much longer.
Which will make games longer, and without premade population in AV there will be less games overall.
I know ally won’t get an increase in queue times. I meant, overall for the average alliance player (hell, any ally player) what would these changes actually hurt?
It’s 40v40 so you can’t outnumber (cause of the whole p2 ally complaint) so it’s just PVP prowess now? At least when it comes to camping potential? Or am I missing something?
Ally will just switch to wsg premades now and av will be dead
Who cares about AV after the changes when WSG will be, at least comparable, if not more, honor per hour?
Edit: if you’re not already exalted with AV then… yeah… you’re in for a slow grind to finish up the rep.
av queues were already 1 hr 10 min this weekend for horde at one point. expect upwards of 90 minutes.
Exactly. Now time to grind out WSG rep.
All those alliance pugs you were shutting out of your premades that stopped queueing because of it … they will be queueing again, and guess what, that will shorten horde queues.
Nice attempt at self-consoling though.
Probably not. Possible Though.
Won’t change much at all.
Queue times are the same on Tuesday as they were on Sunday (which is when the majority of pre-mades had maxed honor and didn’t queue anymore).
Those alliance that still wanna rank out still have to queue for AV and won’t be playing WSG like you all seem to think, because WSG is awful honor per hour.
Queue times might go up slightly, but not much.
eh, most of us continued to queue. our queues are instant, not like it matters to us.
But the incentive to farm people in AV just went up too. Meaning the games will on average be longer.
Patch not out and this alliance fool already wants to make fun of horde. Boy must he have been farmed for hours trying to get to BRD to be this angry towards a faction.
Doesn’t matter what it does to Horde queue as Horde compete vs other Horde, just have to do more than the average guy to rank up. The big change here is that there might actually be PVP instead of PVE race to the finish.
Cant farm people on a PVE server. And wasnt making fun of Horde as much as pointing out the downside of these coming changes. Nice try though.
I honestly think it is more likely that AV times will decrease because I anticipate WSG becoming the farm BG for honor. Honestly, they should just release AB (the best BG) and get it over with.
The reason I think AV times will go up, but not by much more the 1 hour is like you said. WSG will be much more popular.
Maybe people will start doing WSG.
That and hopefully AB is just around the corner.
