Horde and alliance working together

It’s about freaking time, nice to know the horde finally chooses to join Baine and oppose Saltvanas.

Current datamined info shows:

-alliance helping the horde free Baine.
-Thalyssra, Tyrande, Lor’Themar and Jaina working together to fight Azshara

Rationality wins!
Can’t wait for 8.2

We work together in every expansion even if we fight each other. It’s the same plot every time: Alliance and horde fight at some point during early expansion, big baddie comes out and forces us to work together and win.

This sounds kinda familiar.

I hope this leads to cross-faction pve somehow…

Games like ESO have it to where when you PVP you strictly fight for your faction but you can pve with members of the other 2 factions.

Well to be fair by the looks of it I thought it was just going to be an Alliance vs Forsaken petty squabble throughout.

Just like the Care Bears

I think I’m gonna puke :fearful:

It’s the same old junk.

Horde/Alliance fighting -> Big bad does bad stuff -> Factions team up -> Horde/Alliance fighting -> Repeat

Boring, if it was warcraft 4 we’d get some real good story and lore, and not crap which is constrained by making it ‘fair’ for both sides

I’m mostly just glad were working together to free Baine.

Gonna love seeing the genocide fanboys cry over more Sylvanas betrayal haha.

Excuse me while I… go throw up…

Sylvanas’ (and the forsaken) story arc ended in wrath

I gag at the thought of these writers patting each other on their backs.

That said, I guess if I’m throwing them a bone, my Horde toons aren’t strangers at being traitorous cowards. They filled that role admirably in MoP afterall. What’s being a traitorous coward a second time? :grinning:

Super MoP feels. Starts with factional conflict, realise our conflict is putting the world at jeopardy, band together to stop a common enemy, oust the radical warchief who has unhealthy Xenophobia, time for new expansion.

Well it is…it’s just a different version of the Garrosh story kind of.

But from the story so far between 8.0 and 8.1.5 there’s 2 outcomes really:

-Alliance and horde team up to fight a common enemy
-Horde continues to follow Sylvanas’ pointless genocidal campaigns

I think Blizzard just cornered themselves with their writing skills.

EEWWW

I miss the old Alliance.

We didn’t side with people who just killed thousands of innocents, we killed them back

Yes, and apart me is angry because I don’t really think I’ll enjoy classic in the long run but the story in it’s primal form is better.

The Alliance, a group of survivors who band together to survive against the horde.

The Horde, a unlikely group carving a place in this world after being victim of Demons, Centuar, and the Alliance.

Well considering Sylvanas plans on ending all life on Azeroth, I think I’ll take the path of a “traitorous coward” then. At least that’ll ensure a future for our world and not being dead.

If I didn’t support Sylvanas, I’d much prefer to call her out and wrest the mantle of Warchief from her the non cowardly way. /shrug

Yes. Now that the insanity of the Sylvanus story is being put to bed( lol @ morally grey ), please start addressing that a core races home tree/town was burnt down and alllaince reaction was far too timid

Yeah! I can’t wait for the Kirin Tor Offensive, I mean the Kul Tiras, to put aside their differences and work with the Sunreaver Onslaught, I mean the Zandalari, to travel to the Thunder Isle, I mean Nazjatar, to fight the Thunder King, I mean Azshara, to buy time so that Vol’jin’s Rebellion, I mean Saurfang’s Rebellion, can bring down Garrosh, I mean Sylvanas, and we can do this whole stupid plot again the next time Blizzard runs out of ideas.

It’s so unique and original!
