Hope Tuesdays are not your day off

Why would someone take the day off on Tuesday? That’s maintenance day and has been for the last 20 years.

OP,

I love the salty replies to your post. Their salt keeps me coming back to the forums for MORE!

Yeah that’s a communication issue. Blizzard is the worst at communication of any game company I’ve ever seen. It’s really not hard. If you give a 6 hr maintenance window and get done in 3, people will be happy. If you give a 2 hr maintenance window and it takes 3, they will be irritated.

I am here looking for my verbal sparring partner about this issue last week or the week before. Yep…extended again…and again…and again…it is the new norm.

Yeah, it’s not like there is ANYTHING else to do in the meantime. You’re an addict.

When I worked retail, I didn’t have a choice what my days off where. As a manager my days off where Thursday and Saturday. While a normal employee my days off were Tuesday and Saturday normally.

Careful. I’ve had people blow their tops at me over referencing that plant. Apparently its bannable.

They could even take Wednesdays off anyway, have a full day to play and not worry about maintenance at all. However, since this is outcry is more about the reset and not getting their new shinies fast enough, rather than the maintenance, that won’t work because others will have their shinies sooner. :frowning:

nah the majority of wow fanatics who complain about extended maintenance do not work

Just go do something else. It’s really not a big deal at all. Find something else to do. Be productive or something.

ah the "go do something else"ers…but first, we can come to forums to complain about the product we are paying for that the company has had over a full days maintenance in the last month. At some point it gets rather pathetic and its okay to come to forums to say they suck at their job (lets not pretend bugs are getting better with extended maintenance) and unhappy with how long the maintenances have been…and now I will go do something else

Listen to yourself. Did YOU even read the TOS? 99% of people don’t. And, that doesn’t even matter - Regardless of whether you clicked accept and agreed to maintenance, the consistent EXTENDED 4+ hour weekly maintenance is what people are upset with, which they still have a right to be even if they accepted the ToS.

If you want to talk about compensation like game time, then accepting the ToS comes more into play. But to use that as some argument that paying customers shouldn’t get upset or frustrated with a product they pay a monthly fee for, is lame. It gives off shady lawyer energy - “What, you don’t remember the clause buried on page 36 of the contract? Too bad!”

They are my days off.

Can I ask why it’s nothing but Dracthyr posting bad and toxic takes on the forums recently?

You literally agreed to this when you accepted the ToS.

This is such a condescending statement.

I’m disabled, there’s not much else i can do but play games at my computer lol.
