Oof. I’ll have to let my guildie know not to be online for a few days when it releases. She’s got an extreme phobia of snakes. But give it a few days and that mount won’t be used. lol

That sounds cool until you think about the stiff sky riding animation the serpents have currently.
If we get a snake mount for next year, I really hope Blizzard updates the sky riding animations for it.

I hope whatever we get it’s an actual snake as in it slithers on the ground as it’s ground moving animation and not just hover above the ground like all the other serpent like mounts.
The only way a snake mount works without having the player move all over the place is if they placed the saddle on its head. Which would look weird.
Idk if it’s feasible, at least some model/skeleton work would have to be tweaked.
Most mounts we get, even the new ones, are of an already existing skeleton.
I haven’t seen any mounts of recently that are totally new from the ground-up.
For some reason my brain immediately went to an ourboros wheel and us running inside of it like little hamsters.
