Hope everyone remembers Blizzard's "reason" for removing the Caravan Brutosaur

Yeah, for the most part I agree with your points… particularly this one. I was just stating what the reasoning was at the time (and that people seemed to actually prefer its removal at the time) so it was a complicated topic.

To be fair though, the upgrade system now is much more situational, where you might not need to leave a raid to upgrade because you don’t even have the currency to do it. And I am just guessing here but a single upgrade (say from 603 to 606) would also have far less impact on a pc of gear than retooling the majority of its secondary stats… so you might be less likely to delay a raid for it anyway. (Your mileage may vary.)

You mean five years ago before the entire team changed and before Microsoft owned them? K.

Did you show that post to blizzard? They should be aware of this before they… never mind. I don’t care enough to finish the joke. I have an omelet.

The original should never have been removed because it was not launched as a limited time item. They pulled the rug out from people well into grinding for it.

Finally. Something to spend stock-piled gold on.

Assuming that you visit the forums assumes some real time spent in the game and that means gold has been piling up! Unless you sit in game and complain all day, lol.

Yeah it was weird, because their main argument for removing reforging was also removed, i.e. hit and expertise. It was annoying when you got a new piece, and had to reforge all your gear to re-balance hit/expertise. But they removed hit/expertise at the same time, so it was not longer an issue!
