This quest is bugged. Can’t use grappling hook. Says target too close. Tried everything including logging out and abandoning quest. Can anyone help? Blizzard can’t.
There’s a toy: <Borr-Geth’s Fiery Brimstone> use it as high up as u can go.
(Or 1/3 chance to get jump boost from the The Necronom-i-nom)

You’re probably targeting the wrong grappling target.
You shouldn’t be selecting the grappling target right by you. Select the grappling target waaaaay over there where you need to grapple to. Since it’s probably happening during that particular stage of the Korthia campaign, it’s the grappling target on the floating island, which you probably can’t easily see… but it’s there, and your mouse pointer will become a gear pointer when you have the right thing moused over.
