My personal rules are:
-Fight only if the opponent is ~4 levels under or above me.
-No attacking while the opponent is busy with a mob.
-No attacking until the opponent has full health.
-No ganking.
-No camping.
I expect the same amount of fairness from the horde. If they don’t follow any of those “rules” when attacking me, I put them in a beeping KOS list where none of those rules exist. Fair players get fair fights, unfair players get unfair fights.
I have yet to see horde players actually honor the “1v1”.
i know. i’ve killed my fair share of 60s already, and she just hit 55.
I’ve had a few 60 tauren wait til I finish killing a mob before ganking me. I may not be full hp but they at least let me finish killing.
I’ve gotten flak for allowing a 1v1 to occur instead of jumping in to overwhelm someone. Usually, I’ll only assist if I see a person being jumped unfairly (low health, fighting a mob, etc.). Sometimes I’ll spare the horde if they are getting whooped. Depends on my whimsy at the moment.
I personally spend a ton of time wandering solo. Sometimes this makes for good 1vX. Sometimes this means I get camped. Phase 2 had its share of good moments, and of pure cancer. Enjoy the fun parts. It’ll be greatly reduced soon with the advent of BGs.

Is there something intrinsically more difficult in honoring 1v1 fights as a warlock than as a warrior? It sounds like you may have bloodlust issues, my friend.
