There is no such thing as a 1v1 in world pvp. 1v1 pvp is a duel. That has consent between both parties, even in a 1v1 someone is getting ganked.

My only experience in a duel-type deal with an alliance was in Searing Gorge.

I was on my Shaman, 56 or so at the time, fighting a mob. A ret pally came over, helped me finish it off, sat down and drank to full mana then did /ready.

I sat, drank up, and /ready. It was really fun. The fight went back and forth for a bit…

And then 22 more alliance ran over. This was still p1 I believe, so no honor involved.

To be fair, I think he would have won straight up, but that was a really cool experience.

One of my favourite things in WoW is watching 3 bottom-feeding mages all blowing AP on a level 54 in a race to see who can steal the most honour.

Nobody is “respecting” any 1 v 1s in this environment. Being a self-serving honour leech is the meta.

If you watch a large percentage of the top horde PvP’ers (and I’m sure Alliance are the same way), they are running solo/duo near zergs (because they still need the zergs to protect them), and just snipe honour wherever they can. Not only will they not respect your 1 v 1, they will needlessly blow death coil or PoM pyro to jack as much honour as possible.

i wish all the alliance that attacked my 55 lock, Aym, today/night would’ve been 1v1…let alone sub 60.

It’s a PvP server, so, you gotta take the bad with the good. These over zealous PvP zerg hounds will hopefully find a better place to farm HKs on Tuesday…I don’t mind the small 1v1, 2v2,3v3 skirmish in the middle of nowhere. but getting overpowered by 3+ isn’t exactly my version of fun. Welp, time to dungeon spam until tuesday then :slight_smile:

What are these “cooldown” sounding abilities you speak of? I just hit things with a mace and then they magically die, or i do I fall over a lot ground is covered in so much blood and bone matter hard not to.

If we see the Horde at the same time im goin for it but if it’s a 1v1 that’s part way through I feel bad poaching honor. If he loses prolly gonna take the kill though won’t lie xD

If you’re looking to prove you’re skillful at fair 1v1s, you rolled the wrong class. Even bad warlocks are better than a lot of classes.
