Honor System Without BG's Is A Mistake

if only there was an alternative to being ganked while levelling
oh well

Blizz devs could always throw a monkey wrench into the phase by dictating that wpvp honor won’t count toward rank until BGs go live.

See how well that goes over. Hahaha.

Honor farming will = huge battle between SS and tarren mill.

I hate to upvote such a crude comment… but I don’t think it has ever been more appropriate. People choose pvp servers and then get upset that there is going to be pvp. I don’t get it.

It’s just another bad decision along with the litany of other horrible decisions blizz made with the launch that compounds other easily foreseen problems.

Subs will take a big hit

It really is the only appropriate comment for posts that complain about pvp on pvp servers. Back in vanilla, it was pretty much the only response these type of whine posts would get on the forums lol.

If I were blizz, I would add paid transfers on Nov 12th as well. I chose a PVE server because if I want to PVP it will be on my time and will, I’ll just que up for a BG. If people on PVP servers complain about PVP, should’ve played on a PVE server or just you see, paid char transfers

Easy issue to fix…past 48 it is very easy to level in dungeons exclusively…if you do you will also be pre-raid bis when u finally hit 60

Oh look someone who rolled on a pvp server crying about pvp… wonderful

I don’t get it you’re an honorless target for 30 seconds when you land…

Dungeon leveling is already wack but dungeon leveling in your 50s is beyond wack. No groups will take a mid-50s player for the higher level dungeons and exp from them is non-existent. All the people trying this in my guild have been stuck in their mid-50s for weeks.

Camping casuals? You sound soft like a casual.

In vanilla as a 60 geared rogue I was able to 1v2 60s very often and 1v3 60s sometimes and even had a few 1v4s…

Maybe you were much better than the average 60 back then in vanilla but the average has moved up after 15 years I’d think. Is the gap between you and the average player as large now?

World pvp is a huge reason why people loved this game. There is this thing we like to call Warcraft, well I’ll be damned it’s in the title. The Warcraft and faction battles that take place over the vast world and pitting alliance vs horde and fighting tooth and nail and war cries and bodies and unfair advantages and holy sh!t a gnomish death ray and mc off boats it’s all so much gah damn fun!

No, it is not, unfortunately lol.

Disagree 100%
Phase 2 will be the most unique state of wow pvp in the games history.
Everyone has BG’d for years man, bgs and arena has ALWAYS been the endgame for wow pvp. Lets let world pvp shine for a few months, observe the legends that it eill inevitably form. Phase 2 has more potential for fun than anything that has ever happened in wow.

I’ll be having casual fun on my pve server. :sunglasses:

If you are not 60 yet, and rolled on a PvP server then I don’t know what to tell you. If you’re using the “I don’t play much” “I’m not rushing” excuse, you’re already to get face rolled in PvP at 60.

I’m not trying to be “that guy” on the forums bashing people who aren’t 60. I’m just stating the facts. If you don’t have the time to hit 60 by now, you won’t have the time to get gear to stand a chance in WPvP People made the mistake rolling a PvP server because they “like” PvP but didn’t fully understand the concept, and come to the forums complaining about getting ganked. No one forced you to roll a PvP server.

Vivenmort, I’m not targeting you specifically at all, by any means. This is for the constant complaints on the forums by those who rolled a PvP server, and have not reached level 60 yet. I completely understand the behavior of people, and the chaos this would create, but the phase schedule released long before the game went live. I’ve been expecting phase 2 WPvP since May - June.
