There are some good things here with the honor rate increases.
But halving the marks requirement for new Season 3 gear that JUST released a week ago? Seriously? What about all of the players that purchased this new gear last week when it was released for full price ? You really should look into refunding the battleground marks that these players spent considering how last minute this change was for gear that was released a week ago. This particular change has be questioning if I should renew my subscription.

If you’re really questioning cancelling your sub because of this, just go ahead and cancel it. One of the most cringe, childish things I’ve read today. Do use all a favor so we don’t have to read this garbage when we get future good changes for the game.

Having dozens of hours of BG grind made invalid after a week due to an unannounced item cost change really does leave a sour taste.
The double kick in the rear is that the extra marks ‘wasted’ by this are now worth even more honor through hand ins, so it makes the grind for next season even longer via lost marks.

Same sentiment here, Microsoft/Blizzard. I think everyone who bought things with the new season arrival (bought shoulders/helm literally last night lol…) would appreciate it immensely if the marks would be refunded. Whether it be all the marks for the S1 gear, or half the marks for the offset pieces, since they’re only being reduced in half. I would be a very satisfied customer!
So Blizzard has decided to kill Arena and make getting sets for PvE for those with bad RNG or who don’t get consistent spots in a top tier guild harder?? Well done! Watch as Arena becomes less popular and people who’ve had bad RNG can’t complete T5 sets or get spots in T6 content. Watch as people with no need for T6 set pieces stockpile tokens for S3 pieces. Watch as the gap increases and players unsubscribe. Blizzard, you’ve made it harder to gear up for PvE and given people far less incentive to play PvP content, this will presumably make it harder to get Arena and BG games going alongside really slapping anyone who farmed or enjoys PvP pretty hard across the face. Thank you Blizzard for trying to kill the game on both the PvE and PvP front, such genius is rarely seen!
Don’t get me wrong, the other changes do seem pretty good but T5 for S2 gear rather than, say, increased battleground honor and making the S2 gear available for honor seems rather illogical to me. But hey, well done, maybe I’m wrong and Arena and BG won’t die early or nosedive given that they aren’t needed for PvP sets. Maybe people won’t have any potential issue with getting T6 tokens or nabbing an elusive T5 piece when some classes have no alternatives to complete sets at the moment. Maybe people will still play Arena that are average or below average at PvP or running a sub-optimal comp hoping to improve their gear or have fun while bearing (probably) even worse wait times than most days last season and while probably losing every match against mostly meta groups. And after you just implemented a good improvement to matchmaking; I suppose that had to be rectified.
Glad I spent the arena points I farmed for months on S2 gear not S2 weapons, because it’s so easy for non-meta teams and that would have made so much sense prior to this announcement. Glad Arena still has incentive now that you’re setting a precedent moving forward regarding tokens without having a PvE gearing catch up raid like Zul’Aman available. Glad I’m not worried that the player base may nosedive with your “catch up” logic that actually makes it more difficult to catch up for both PvE and PvP whilst disincentivizing participating in PvP for PvP gear unlike, say, the cash, honor and marks for PvP gear system. Amazing!

Are people seriously complaining?
This will improve arena participation as well as allow people to gear up multiple alts further increasing longevity of pvp.
I have all my gear and farmed all my off pieces and an incredibly happy with this change because it will only improve arena participation.
If you want an advantage in gear go farm the rating for weapons and shoulders.
I really hope blizzard doesn’t listen to all the whingers and stick with the changes.
TLDR this is an awesome change and I guarantee the majority of people not on the forums and high level pvpers would all welcome it

5/5 vindicators on 4 toons. 
spent all S2 grinding marks/honor - rip… still happy for change though, just wish we had notice so people who grinded didnt get punished. OR Refunded badges would be dope. BUT still happy with this change. WOOOO easier for less BG grind and more arena time

Good changes. Even better if they happened a week ago or if there was any communication about this at all so people didn’t spend all of their honor and marks already.
Also, please give us an update on the realm population/faction imbalance issues. It’s been months and there’s still no solution and no communication. And no, an unannounced 30% off is not a solution, it’s milking desperate players. Really an unacceptable situation all around.
