Seriously Blizzard?
Paying your employees in intangibles?
A Blizzard employee store that accepts Honor Points for working hard?
This is really disturbing. I cant believe I have shares with this company. I’ll be selling them shortly.
Ok, where are y’all getting this dirt?
I just saw another post referencing this and I wanna know where this is coming from so I can do some digging too?
Asmongold is having a discussion on stream about all this dirt
Ok, thanks man, checking it out now.
Lets not forget this gem

I’m out of the loop on this… can anyone give me the quick TL;DR?
Honor points instead of money??? Is that actually a thing?
Given the stories that have been done on similar situations at Bioware and Gearbox, I have to imagine now that paying your talent starvation wages and working them like animals during crunch time, all while paying the executives like kings, is the new normal for this industry. Or is it new?
Imagine being a rank 14 Blizzard employee
Unfortunately, it’s fairly “normal” for most big companies to pay the actual front-lines/on-the-ground workers peanuts… and millions (or billions) for the small handful of guys at the top.
That’s just the status quo at the moment.
Literally paying ppl in Swag, game time, and Blizz balance?
-_-
Somehow I thought it would be different working for a game developer like Blizzard.
That’s been the status quo forever.
That’s pretty rough right there.
Q2 Blizz made $461, 000, 000!
Holy cow!
