This is what I’ve been doing, and I’ve only gone up 10 levels in the last couple of months. It’s brutally slow, and slower than it was in Legion.

Lol but yeah on a serious note I think they scaled it for people that played in legion… With all the pve I’ve had to do lately I think I’ve gone up two honor levels the last season so far. That’s with a 60% win rate as alliance lol
They scaled it for people that played alts in Legion. If you had a max prestige toon, meaning you still did a lot of pvp, it didn’t account for all the honor once capped.
100%… Like I said, 90% of my honor levels came from legion despite playing it half as much. Kinda bonkers.
No idea how they fix it though.

It took all my time. It was a good thing BRR made me want to vomit, or I would never have gotten any sleep.
They told us at the start of Legion that Prestige was not intended to be capped in one expansion. They said the same thing about Honor in BfA, that it was supposed to be a lifetime achievement.
In fact, during Legion they told us that Prestige would never be account-wide, and it would be retired in Legion as old content people could go back to farm for.
Then they reworked it in the prepatch and made it much worse.
I am opposed on principle to the concept of expansion-linked achievements that can’t be completed within the expansion.
Prestige/Honor was never intended to be a serious PvP achievement. Look at the rewards, all cosmetics and danged few of them. Honor level 400 for a pet? The HL 500 mount is sweet, but seriously.
This is what happens when you don’t have a PvP director.
Until late in Legion we were led to believe that Prestige levels would always be character bound, and honor would never be account-wide. Therefore people who were serious played most of their PvP on one character, as it felt like wasting your time by getting honor that wouldn’t be credited toward your prestige level.
Those people totally got shafted in the conversion.

I wanted to get the red ursoc skin on one bear. There’s no way I could have done it on more than one. The others had the powder blue skin.

Between the queue times and the reduced honor … farming honor levels as Horde is gonna be much harder than as alliance

The infamous darkshore glitch made it effortless to become honor level 500-1500 in a matter of a week or two. If you google it there are old threads dating back and tons of characters that abused this glitch that are still active. No punishment was enforced by Blizzard as they lost their spine. Makes the honor level rewards distasteful.
I actually heard within a few days they removed those peoples honor level I remember because I think some angry threads were made. Also idk why people care about honor level that much I am over 1000 and people make it seem like this huge deal lmao
Nah, I still have my main account with it and about 20 on my list with it still. But you can believe this lmao.
I don’t believe it. Not a single character i have seen have had their honor level reverted or been proper punished.

Honor Levels should be a symbol of dedication, not a symbol of bug abusing.
i blame dataforazeroth posting honor levels in a ranked fashion. some people just have to be at the top and will cheat to get there if they have to, they value the status of achievement more than the journey to get it.
Well of course they also snag a few to try to “set an example” but I assure you they really don’t care. I raid with 3 big shots at blizzard as well, who were also exposed being part of the gallywix gold community. But do you lmao…
