Honor Level

So I am going to work on PvP/Honor Points to unlock the Artifact Appearances. How do I get to Honor Level 10 and how long does it take? Thanks.

The achievements are named “Prestige.” You don’t earn prestige for those. You earn honor. Here’s the Wowhead article:

I’m not sure about lower ranks because after the Legion conversion in BfA I was around 100 Honor Level, but each honor level is 8800 honor points earned.

But assuming you want all 4 tints that means you need to hit 80 honor level which means you need to grind 704k honor assuming lower level Honor Levels isn’t less than 8800 honor (honor increasing event buffs don’t count towards honor levels I believe).

It was one of the most unfair changes in the whole game. It takes now 10 times longer to increase your level and the income is simply awful. Not only can regular player not get their stuff easier, it also fosters a toxic gameplay loop where you are forced to do PVP 24/7 if you want to work on something, because the income is too low.

And this does not includes the frustration and toxic player behavior coming from Alliance-players, if you want to farm it with the +50% bonus. It’s simply not worth it.

Nah, honor is pretty plentiful since Shadowlands. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Rewards are frontloaded so it’s more like play a bit then stop and just do this over a period of time.

Wait for the Brawl Ashran to come around again, it’s a serious honor farm, you’ll get to 10 in no time there.

Yeah, I’m at 234 honor level trying to grind out the 250 mount and then just calling it quits.

I’m also bummed I could’ve just got my honor level to 500 back when the darkshore exploit was going on but I ASSUMED they’d revert it for anyone using it, but they never did.

Exploit early, exploit often, I guess.

Not good enough compared to Legion, where you also get a lot through world quests.

Yes, it’s a common Blizzard issue. They think they know what’s best for the customer but in the end it really ruins a lot.

You can get some honor doing comp stomp brawl before tomorrows reset. It’s not a bunch but it is a relaxing way to farm that and Marks of honor currency tokens.

I don’t know about that, and we never should have been able to cheese a pvp currency by doing pve quests.

They absolutely yoinked the levels and mounts from people.

This is how 90% of the people got to LV150-200 back then when BfA started. The income was just good enough to justify doing the hamster wheel. Since then most of the people I know have simply stopped doing the content, because it’s too grindy.

It really isn’t but the content type may not be for them.

I rather think that they are simply smarter than the usual person, who just sees a carrot on a stick. It’s called having a dignity.

What? :dracthyr_a1: It’s something people who enjoy the content will just get passively. Anybody grinding for the mount, +1, achievement or whatever with no interest in pvp was never going to make it.

And that’s fine.

They would, if the incomes are simply better. Most people I know are still used to have options available to them, which have been lacking since BfA. With each expansion it became worse.

Honor income is great right now, though. Anybody who wants more isn’t interested in playing.

No, it has been considerably better since mid shadowlands.

I started at honor level 5ish a month ago, and haven’t had much time to play. I’m now honor level 16. It’s definitely quick.

Spam pvp queues.

Not too long since you’re just goin for 10. i can’t give you a rough estimate of hours/days, just depends on how hard you grind it.

I’m sitting at 98 right now, can’t bring myself to PvP anymore… but I will just to hit 100. Did some comp stomp this week across the alts but just hated every minute of it.

It can take a little while. It’s not horrible, but it’s not very fast either. I’d learn to enjoy other things about PvP and make other goals as well (such as the mounts or toys) and then it’ll feel better grinding it out.
