Honeyback Harvester Still Faction Locked

Like there isn’t anything on the bee to signify it’s prideful to be an Alliance mount, but instead it was Blizzard’s doing. With intention and with code. The jelly is even Alliance-only so Horde cannot obtain jelly drops. I’m not sure where to argue this… it’s been known to us for a while now.

I’d be fine with that, honestly. Although our bee mount will still be the current, most-impactful unique model, and still may cause an issue.

Bug is still alive and well as of the time of writing this post.

You people realize you’re hemorrhaging what scraps of good faith you have remaining with every day you allow this bug to stand, I hope. Though I doubt you do. Conceivably you have some hare brained idea to let it stand for a period, then literally remove one line in the database and ride in like heroes to the rescue, to the effusive gratitude of horde players everywhere.

That’s not going to happen. What IS going to happen is there are more and more horde players mentallly unticking the box for being willing to buy your next expansion if this kind of shoddy QA and PR mind games is what we can expect in the future. I earned this mount for my account on the second day it was available, and nearly two weeks later still am not able to ride it on most of my characters.

And in the exceptionally unfortunate (for you) event this is an intentionally introduced faction imbalance, that’s going to cement the mental box-unticking even more securely. Which is why I suspect you’re so greasily equivocating about whether this is a deliberate SNAFU or not.

good info there in the guide. also i have a link to wago there that is a weak aura (see twitch: weak auras 2) for the event. currently lf the trigger for bee event eligiblity

they talk about it there. i think its currently by design.

Again, its not a bug. Xo

You can have all the logic and right you want, but the way everyone is complaining about it on the forums just comes as annoying and won’t make a difference, either the devs intend or not to change it…
Heres an idea:

Title: We want to ride the bee too…
“Dear Blizzard devs, it’s ok the alliance has exclusivity for the questline, just like Kua’fon’s quest is only horde, but it would be fair to allow horde character to ride it too after obtaining it on my alliance character.”

You can post something like that everywhere for all i care. Forums, Twitter, Suggestion in-game, bug report, whatever.
Just stop being a Karen and DEMANDING they “FIX the error”.
