But I’m not understanding the “use” part. Are you saying that as long as the Alliance only has the bee, the two Horde mounts should be available to the Alliance? Am I reading that right?

No one cares about those garbage mounts. Look, the alliance has and probably forever will have to put up with a diluted skill cap pool of players. Everything does not have to be equal nor should it. Give them their bee for having to put up with the garbage for years.

Our mounts are not UNIQUE or exclusive because Alliance has access to the models via drops, if not the actual mount itself(Kua’fon and Torcali).
What 100% unique and exclusive mounts has Horde got for BFA? I’ll wait.
Pterodactlys? Reskins and recolors both Factions have had access to since MoP.
Direhorn? Same as the above.
Hyena? World drop recolor available.
Bloodfeaster? World drop recolor available.

Hippo from PvP season 1. 100% unique and exclusive despite zoology and ecology apparently being a big determining factor for who gets what(per the Q&A you trolls like to spam). Of which, BFA hippo’s should’ve been Horde due to the fact they only exist in Nazmir and Zuldazar. But Bliz threw yall a bone on this one so yall would stop crying. Horde got a reskin from WoD.

I’ll openly admit, we got more unique mounts from rep but nothing unique and exclusive because Alliance literally has access to every single Horde mount model available in BFA via recolors, if not the mount itself.
Horde has access to a a couple horses and two donkeys/mules.
The entire argument is literally that It’s okay for Horde to get unique mounts if the Alliance has access to the model via recolor/reskin. But damn the Horde if they want the same treatment. Exclusive mounts are fine, but it HAS to go both ways.
But you guys are too stubborn, dense, whatever to see that one simple logical fact.
Okay, then you guys can stop whining about the Undercity Bat being more unique than the Teldrassil Hippogryph since it’s literally a reskinned DH class hall mount.
Like I said though, Faction specific mounts being exclusive is perfectly fine. But it HAS to work both ways. Alliance can’t have access to all of our unique mounts through reskins or recolors if the Horde doesn’t get the same treatment with Alliance unique mounts.
That is the ENTIRE argument. That you all apparently lack the comprehension to understand.

As of today, no Alliance player can obtain a basilisk mount, unlike Horde players.

No because I don’t think we should have to have alts on a faction we dislike just to get equal mount counts. You hordes get 2, we get 1. Regardless if we can use it on an alliance toon or not we have to have a max level horde alt just to get, which sets it behind a mud hut wall to obtain.
This faction lock nonsense has still not been fixed as of the first weekly reset after the introduction of the Honeyback Harvester. How hard is it to remove one line from the item’s database entry which should never have gone into it in the first place? And wouldn’t have if there was any quality control whatsoever. Too damned hard for the brain trust that is the wow dev team, evidently.

Again, it’s a bone thrown to the Alliance for having extremely lacking mounts on their side of the reputation, being just reskinned horses and gryphons, as well as being side characters to the Horde focused narrative this entire expansion. We didn’t even have a reason to go into Uldir, all that boss related story was Horde side.
Stop moaning just because the Horde doesn’t get everything, it’s alright. Play Alliance if this ONE mount means that much to you.

Nothing is stopping you from riding it on your Alliance character then.
You’re backsplaining what has never, to this date, been unequivocally clarified by a member of the dev team. If you want to 'splain all your cognitive disonance away, and delude yourself into thinking you’re playing a flawless game with no intern data entry SNAFUs in it, which is what I believe this bee mount SNAFU to be, that’s your problem.
They literally replied to the complaint of mounts and the Alliance treatment with the mention of this bee mount and how neat it’ll be.
You’re the only one being delusional here.
