Why is that two year old expansions still have outdated mechanics that makes them impossible to solo them?

Many mechanics actually get activated when you’re NOT solo.
Op we been arguing about this for a very long time now. Ion wants you to wait til the end of the expansion, then the player power reset happens and then Ion comes out and says that same exact idiotic thing. Seriously it continues to go, “ohh, get to max level, get to max gear, not .0 nor .1 or ,2 max gear but .3. Ohh there’s no .3. Next patch promise”
I understand where you are coming from, it would be great if they put in crazy legacy scaling modifiers like 1000x damage (and 1/1000x damage taken) and then changed the bosses that can’t be powered through.
Maybe they think people will make friends and do them. They probably forgot what game they are working on though lol.
Why should old raids become soloable?
(Better yet, why should Blizzard go out of their way to make them able to be?)
BFA is only two expacs old too…
Because that was Blizzard’s stance for a while, 2 expansions back and they would be soloable. Maybe they changed their mind, I don’t know.
Thought they just add the legacy buff, but not make sure that it is actually solaoble.
That’s prob 3 expacs.
Also, they were extremely easy to solo as well. In late legion I remember going back to mythic HFC (one expansion less) on my 110 and getting naked so I wouldn’t one shot the boss, I think I was doing some achievement but I don’t remember.
I think the issue is with certain bosses having mechanics that pretty much demand multiple people.
Yeah I don’t see how M N’zoth is going to be soloable not with the upstairs/downstairs phases anyway. Maybe extreme skill but to be honest that skill should not be required for gear that’s significantly worse than normal dungeon gear.

My understanding was there was going to be a buff, not a guarantee of success.
I mean you could be right, I’m not sure. Either way, Blizzard has said nothing on the subject so people are just assuming based on the fact you could solo some raids with relative ease.
And how many of those are from BFA? cause isn’t there one example from every raid there as being “unsoloable?”
