Honestly I'm done

Was going to stick it out with Evoker for the rest of the expansion hoping things would get better but going to be honest I just can’t do it.

When Dracthyr Evoker were revealed I was so excited that I started preparing to make one as my main collecting a bunch of stuff for her ready to go gold, consumables, gear etc.

When I was lucky enough to get Beta access I tested Preservation Evoker every second I could providing feedback on all kinds of things.

Come PrePatch I swapped instantly my old main my Monk was basically left to gather dust like even now my Evoker is my only lvl 70.

BUT

Ever since Beta Blizzard has pretty much ignored all feedback on Evoker and when they did acknowledge it well it was just some excuse for why they won’t do it.

Like Blizzard clearly has no idea what they want this class to be at all so until they figure that out I’m done unless significant changes are made too both Dracthyr and Evoker she will just continue to collect dust on my character select screen.

(Note would add more into my issues but well nothing I can say that hasn’t been already said all over the Dracthyr forums so just be beating a dead horse :dracthyr_shrug: )

But this will be my new main so just gotta level her up :dracthyr_a1:

Yep. I feel the same way.
The essence bug has been in since first stage of Beta, Devastation felt completely unfinished, and Pres just feels… boring.
The range on the class sucks, the class as a whole feels very mediocre, we get little to zero feedback, and when we do, its NOTHING that we’ve asked for.
This is the biggest flop of a new class I have ever seen, and unless DEvoker getes a major overhaul, I quit. I’ll roll back to my hunter or spriest.

I feel really limited whenever I play pres but that’s probably because I don’t play healers that often, devastation is fine but I don’t like it.

Yeah I think the range issues weren’t really a big deal when Prevoker felt godly.

Now that they’ve come down to Earth, I just don’t want to deal with the annoyance. Why would I struggle for positioning when I can just play my Shaman and breeze through it?

I didn’t mean the range really, I meant more of the spells. But yes, the range was weird too

i agreed as well. That’s why I gave up my prevoker and play priest. Blizzard designer has no idea how to fix this character

I gave up Devoker and migrated over to priest as well. Devoker left such a sour taste I switched to healing for raids.

No…

I also put a lot of time and energy into prepping what I had already decided would be my new main, only to continually run into issues that are continually not only ignored but unacknowledged.

It’s far too weak in far too many areas, has several well-documented bugs that I myself have experienced many times, feels thematically incomplete, and is wholly inferior to most other more well-rounded classes that have a much larger range of utility and abilities and has a talent tree that could be easily called an extended spellbook as it doesn’t really add anything new, merely modifies what already exists, and what it does add either feels so mandatory that it should be baseline- such as Dragonrage- or is borderline useless and mostly never taken.

And yet I haven’t seen a single blue post responding to these issues.

What are we supposed to think? That we’re overreacting and we’ll get used to the state of it and eventually stop complaining?

Evokers are apparently getting a 3rd spec added. Wonder how that’ll go.

Will be nerfed into the ground after a week

Nah. They will wait at least a month or so until you’re fully invested … then they will nerf it into oblivion.

I’m sorry, but idk what you’re building. I’m not even wildly geared and as pres I’m leading the chart on heals, I’m not last in damage, and I survive easily as I’m a healer…wearing mail. The class is unique and requires a bit of skill to put yourself into places where you can heal a bunch of people at once, but that’s the trick. “Wow new class, I hope it’s just a rework of another class and not something new!” That’s you, that’s what you sound like.

People really need to stop with this “ignored feedback” because they didn’t act on it because guess what? Not all feedback is valuable, insightful, or good for the game gasp

I can give feedback all day long with bad takes and I hope to hell they’d ignore those. Just because you give feedback doesn’t warrant it being appropriate

Generally the people commenting on these threads that are happy where evokers are at currently are more then likely other healer classes who feel they can breathe a sigh of relief without having to worry about pres dominating over them anymore.

The 1% who seem to still be doing fine with the nerfs shouldnt be the dominating factor in “EVERYTHING STILL WORKS FINE FOLKS!”.

I’d say reporting a bug that literally made two previous campains unplayable is very valuable feedback.

Oh and just remembered I also discovered the issue where it couldn’t be fully upgraded but you know guess that’s not valuable feedback either.

Considering the nerfs the Devs did to Preservation, and the lack of attention to Devastation , I’m 1000% sure they will destroy the 3rd Spec, if we have one.

The sad part about this is the nerf. They needed to tune the healing down a bit for Preservation and that was it. In the process of doing that, they needed to fix the other healers who showed glaring issues in the current content.

At this point, these Devs are clueless, but this is what they’ve been doing at the beginning of each expansion. When classes that ALWAYS perform well, they nerf (Destroy) them, while ignoring the Feedback of those who needed fixing in Alpha/Beta. 6 months, 1yr. and 6months, or at the end of the expansion they decide to bring those classes/specs they nerfed back to being competitive. In the process of those nerfs, players are forced to play another classes/specs, because their DPS/HPS/Tanking is so bad no one wants them, so they can’t even progress. Can’t even ENJOY a class/spec due to these nerfs, so you have to follow a META, which you don’t even want to play, because the class/spec you want to play is complete :poop:. I’m so frustrated with this company. I’ve been cool, but these Devs are a joke.

Thanks for notifying us. I was going to lose sleep if I didn’t find out whether or not you dislike Evoker.
