does anyone actually like, or prefer this current shadowform?
because to me it completely ruins my priests aesthetic, it’s either to much of an effect without a glyph, or to little with the Shadow glyph… theres no inbetween.
why in unglyphed shadowform do my shoulders “pop” so much?
like they’re not being covered by shadowform in the same way as other armor pieces.
honestly even though i hated that Legion purple form we had, i still would take that over this.
Honestly I think it looks REALLY bad, to where I feel like I need to turn it off between mobs. It seems like most other people don’t like it either. I’d be happy with the oldschool one again, or at least just the transparent form without all the purple smoke. I think it has something to do with the squiggly purple lines. Void form would look so much cooler without the squiggles too, just the transparency and the smoke would be fine.
It would be kinda cool if they made it similar to the Void elves Entropic Embrace (racial) proc that was triggered when you enter combat. You start off looking fab in your tmog -> enter combat and turn all shadow/void-> then it fades away after combat ends without you having to toggle your form.

Literarily all I see is a small puff of purple smoke.
Yet we are shadow

I’m actually kinda happy with it. I liked the void tendrils we had going on in maybe… Warlords? A lot too, but right now I like both full blown shadow form and the glyph-reduced shadow form.
When I was a panda I thought it looked pretty terrible but now that I’m back to the master race, I’m perfectly content.
It took some getting used to, as I liked the old shadowform, but now I like the purpley voidness too. Feels kinda epic, like I’m standing out rather than fading away.
I love the way void form looks mainly because it’s a short duration. Shadowform looks way over the top for an always on effect. Personally I don’t like the projected texture on it or the purple smoke.
They aren’t going to please everyone with an always on effect. That’s why we need some options with glyphs. I would love the option to hide it altogether or at least have a more subtle effect, especially outside of combat.
I actually rolled priest for shadowform since I enjoy it, then it turns out I like healing better on a priest. rip
I liked OG shadowform when it just made you very dark purple and a bit transparent.
The really bright purple from Legion was terrible and the worst iteration.
The new version is pretty cool, I like the smoke, it’s still a bit too purple though, would prefer it to be darker and could lose the texture.
Basicially OG shadowform with a bit of smoke would be perfect IMHO. I’d like my mount to be smoking too.
