Why? Farming +2’s for gear requires 12 upgrades per piece. Farming +15’s only 3.

Yes, and those players earned it and their efforts should not be undermined by no effort players getting the same level of gear they worked so hard for.

Farming 2s for the valor, but getting the base 210 from 15s
And these same players don’t want casuals to get good gear from world quests.
+2 for someone with KSM level gear already takes about 5mins. They basically 1 pull the dungeon and its basically the higher Valor per hour.
Casuals already get good gear from WQs. Higher than low m+ and LFR. And can get higher than normal raid loot from purple callings.
no one cares about world quests… enchanting mats and free vendor gold.
This is what people have been trying to explain for months. EVERYONE should be able to just upgrade their gear.
How is spamming mythic 2 in 215 gear to upgrade gear any different than farming world quets in 180 it’s hilarious.
I never once said casuals don’t deserve gear. Don’t put words in my mouth. I fully believe casuals can be skilled and able to do challenging content if they wanted to. They just might have less time to do it, but thats where time management comes in.
Casuals=/=No effort players
I do not know about you, or your luck, but the % of players getting exactly what they want from their first handful of 15 keys seems small.
Personally, I have done 7 15 keys this week and have zero pieces I intend to upgrade.
Like I said you won’t ever see it. Your position in my opinion makes you a cog in the wheel. I know I was right there with you. (Eventually you will realize this and remember our conversation)
This is true I ran HoA +14/15 7 times to get Sin Stained Pendant and by then I had enough valor to upgrade from 210 to 220. However, if I got the drop sooner and needed a couple more runs for points I would run low keys for it.
Well I give up then. Doing everything right, good routes and that kind of dps?

It’s based around the level of gear you get from the vault. not the level of the gear that it drops. The dungeon drops are almost pointless.

It takes quite a bit of valor to upgrade a piece. You’re not going to want to start at 190 and gear up to 220 3 ilevels at a time at like 700 valor per upgrade.
Doesn’t seem more efficient to me, unless you get really lucky on your first 15 of the week, get our bis piece, and then do what you’re describing. But most people don’t have the time to then also do 10 15s for their 3 chances.
What I’m saying is, this strategy of farming 2s is not what anything more than a tiny tiny portion of the population might try. maybe.

This seems more like what happens. And 7 runs does not seem unreasonable to me. Maybe because I am old enough to remember running LBRS 52 times before hoj.
They are 100% pulling wrong and missing interrupts to have that output and still not be at 2nd boss.

Dude can’t you see what’s about to happen? People are going to farm low mythic keys for drops and valor because it’s faster and requires less skill. Would anyone in their right mind repeatedly farm mythic 15s that require skill when you could just basically afk and socialize in a mythic 2? All this talk against casual gear is just SOCIAL POSTURING no one actually believes these people enjoy running difficult content 16 hours a day just for the fun of it?
