See that’s the problem. They’re either a troll who knows the various conspiracy theories enough to rant about them convincingly OR they’re a true believer. They do seem to be convincingly racist etc, but there’s a few things that may be winks or overdoing it, but if they are, they are no where near enough to overwhelm all the stupid they’ve said so far.
Blizzard: Hey guys Black people matter and we should probably stop letting cops brutalize them. Oh and lets give the LGBTQ community some small amount of representation in the game as well since they haven’t had anyone in the game like them before.

I remember some time ago I saw a photo of a guy posted on one of the cringe subreddits. He was out in public with the most ridiculous, cringey outfit you could imagine. He had the fake animal tail tucked in his pants, I think he had cat ears, all sorts of weird clothes on, makeup, etc. The guy in the photo actually showed up in the comments because he’s apparently really well known in furry communities and stuff, and someone recognized him and tagged him. He just walks around like that everywhere, all the time. Does not give a f. And he’s got some crazy engineering job or something too. Was pretty enlightening to read, he’s a super nice guy and doesn’t care that people judge him and take pics/laugh at him everywhere he goes.
Did it ever occur to you that the problem is the bigots and not the threads that supposedly attract the bigots?
Just spitballing here, but in my opinion the forums would be better off without them would it not?

A lot of furries have super cushy jobs and can throw around ‘frog-you’ money and simply not care.

It’s because my father and I worked Law together. I have learned that if you don’t lay out everything (which may explain to my fellow forum-readers where my sometimes meandering or rambling way of replying stems from), someone somewhere will intentionally misquote you. So I make sure to get all the facts in there first take.
That’s really all I needed to hear, and I also appreciate Exo and Shadina’s input on the subject as well. I thought that was what my moral compass pointed me toward, but when Tickle Orc blew up on me and said I was homophobic for not caving to his advances, it did rattle me as did his claim that straight people were cancer and he didn’t respect their life-style.
What I don’t understand is…why don’t people get this upset when furries get equal representation. Like seriously look at all the Animal characters we can play as.
Has there been people complaining about it? Sure but nowhere near to the amount of foot stomping childish behavior the gay people have to put up with when ever they get any level of something to show them that they matter to.
Far as I am concerned, it doesn’t matter to me, and it shouldn’t matter to others who loves who and what genders they are; even more so in a video game (or other fictional worlds.) No one is making you be that way, just chill and let people be with whoever they want.
I wish I had the kind of confidence he does. I don’t care what other people think but there are still times I go to put shorts on or something and think “well… no… I have to run to the store later and I didn’t shave my legs. Better not”

Furries are a more recent thing compared to LGBT+ people.
They share similarities and overlaps though, but furries haven’t be persecuted to the same degree that LGBT+ folk have.
It’s a subculture versus something intrinsic to someone.
And another sub for Blizz. Then they either learn their lesson or get banned again.
I don’t see a downside here.
It really bogs the mind that folks can’t handle this stuff.
