It does though. Blizz can’t stop people’s head cannon true, but what it does is it sends a message. It tells homophobes they’re not welcome here and it sends a message of solidarity to lgbtq+ folks who play this game.

So why are you getting all defensive over a statement that was just “No, this specific bit of hatred with no redeeming factor isn’t part of the game?” It’s not pushing some gay agenda, it’s just trying to stomp out the bigots agenda to try and force people to put up with hateful situations.

People don’t hate romantic storylines in the game. If they did, they would complain about the straight ones.
