Home Is Where the Candle quest not playable on Alt

I finished the questline on my main but after getting the quest on my alt I’m not able to interact with any of the NPC’s. It’s still bugged and very frustrating. Is there a work around for alt characters wanting to do the quest.

I’ll do you a favour and tell you exactly what a “GM” would. So either:

  1. Abandon and re-take the quest.
  2. Go to wowhead.com and check the comments for a solution.
  1. Pray to Elune for divine intervention.

I did all that but still no divine intervention. I’m guessing it’s phasing and staying that way on my alt.
