Just wondering what others were going to heal as at the start of the expac? I remember being disc priest at the start of BFA and was a bit hard to heal when nobody knew any of the mech including myself. Think Holy would be the way to go at least at the start?
i guess the questions you should ask yourself is what content are you pushing? and how high you are aiming. also which covenent are you going. if youre aiming for AOtC and stuff Holy is perfectly fine.
Mythic + for sure but no higher than 15. Unless I find a good group. Even if I did switch to holy at the start I will, no matter what, switch back to disc. I enjoy it to much. Not sure on what covenents i’m going
if your focus is M+ Kyrain is really good for disc and holy. happy hunting

I always start as Holy when I’m new to the content and don’t know the dungeons well enough yet.

You can play Holy until you get to a Mythic level where healer DPS output actually becomes relevant to clear times. The advantage to Holy is that it is MUCH more forgiving at low gear levels.
Disc. I never play Holy, I just really dislike it
All priests specs are top tier so just pick the one you like playing
That’s what I do as well. Generally I found I don’t progress to the point I really need to make the switch.
I’ve actually been sticking with Disc. I’m lvl 58 and so far the dungeons don’t see that bad right now.
