So, I’ve been leveling a HPriest alt through dungeons and I gotta say I absolutely love it. I made the mistake of reading Wowheads “tier list” and thought I needed to shelve my priest and try evoker but nah…give priests some love it’s been great.
Go ahead and pull as hard as you want tanks, nobody will die. Also. I’m almost NEVER 5th in dps.
Holy is great, Disc was roughhhhhhhhh… at least early levels. Now my Disc Priest is ilvl 580 but my Holy Priest is like “Lol zzzzz gimme something to heal”
Holy priest is great imo. Jack of all trades and master of none. It is very forgiving to new healers and stays pretty darn strong for all skill levels so long as you don’t go for super high keys when undefeated.
Tier lists are stupid af. No exceptions.
It’s all about how well you drive it. Familiarity with a spec is always going to make it stronger than picking a meta FOTM darling you’ve never touched before.
Tier list are referencing specific content, in higher m+ priest in general lacking in kicks, cc, and cleanse types makes them weak, it has nothing to do with throughput.
