Been doing arenas tonight and I really don’t know what to do vs holy priests. Many of them have the legendary that revives them when spirit of redemption expires… (Why can’t I ankh in arenas if they allow that) and from what I saw they can raise people in arena during spirit of redemption. To be honest, that was what I read, but haven’t really tested it in newest patch.
So vs holy priests, I guess just go for dps? I’m really at a loss at what to do.
nth, there’s lots of specs to take action before taking holy priests like Rdruids, DHs.
I’m not saying to nerf them, I’m genuinely asking what to do against them.
use ground totem
I dont use the revive legendary but it requires them to heal to revive, so just sit there and wait. You push until you get the priest hard casting a heal, kick then punish. If they pop guardian, get them low and have some self restraint and wait for guardian to expire.
Dont waste your kick if they are full hp and hard casting in your face, its a bait. Guardian spirit is their only defensive that can be used while stunned. Also spam purge all the time. Renew is insane into attrition damage.
Just windshear, and hex them like any other healer, and pre-tremor when you see one running up to you because he’s coming to fear you, and purge your team out of Mind Control.
They only have 1 school of magic for healing, so getting kicked really screws them.
I have been just cc’ing the hpriest when it comes time to try to kill their dps. Training the hpriest has never gone well.
Tremor is weird. I’ve had a priest run up to me, fear me, and kill the tremor I just dropped with dagger before it could pulse me out. Then laugh at me. I didn’t realize they could even do that ; /
Just line the holy ward B4hand.

Not remotely. I just find the statement ‘you can’t win a game without one on your team,’ to be hilarious. I don’t care, nerf them, but watching people walk around with their pockets turned inside out all the time is just funny to me.
Can’t wait for Blizzard to go overboard with nerfing Holy Priests to where they no longer get played again 
I mean yeah you don’t need one to win but they are beyond disgusting last night I was hit with a 11k holy fire 12k sw:d not to mention their incap is a better version of mine and imagine not having to cast every single spell.
If vendes can get 2.1 first week playing like a deranged monkey then hpriest is def bustedddd

I don’t think Vendes is a bad healer, he’s just got a terrible personality. He had like a 65% W/L playing 3,000+ games with randoms last season. That’s probably not easy to do. Lol
But I duno, my W/L of my shammy is a little better than my Hpriest. I can definitley say Hpriest is the easier class to heal on right now, but I don’t think I’ll have too much trouble getting them both to Duelist at some point so I can do random BGs for the next 10 months. Lol
when they go into their angel form after they die and they are playing the legendary to revive themselves, they come back with an amount of health depending on how much they healed while in angel form
if you’re able to shut down the dps and not let the angel form heal anything, the priest will come back with 1 health and you can just 1 shot him after they come back
thats whats comin up for me based on what you’ve said - not sure what other tips i can offer unless you wanna talk about what comp youre running and stuff etc
If they have shadow mend, you want to be sure to kick that instead if holy spells afaik
