The most sad thing is… Disc priest can still get buffs, lmao. The issues holy priest has are they can’t handle 3 targets or even 2 targets burst damage .
The buffs are a start but would of liked to see a buff to flash heal or mastery/mana. Nerfs reverted
You think so? I think rdruid and mw have both been worse. I feel like hpriest, especially when paired with a rogue/feral & caster can do exceptionally well.
I really feel like hpriest’s lower rep/performance is more just because disc is better.

Please check SS leaderboard. The Hpriest is weakest one about 200 rating difference comparing to other healers. After next Tuesday, it would be worse than now.
I think both were clearly worse than holy priest. just nobody was playing holy priest when they could transform into a disco priest in 3 seconds. It never felt bad when i played it

holy is alright but kinda mid, it’s decent but there are better options
we have the best throughput in the game (I’m often maintaining 900k hps even in 65% damp) but damage is extremely spiky right now and we have no damage reduction, so people go 100-0 in the first CC that hits us where we have no trinket and our dps don’t have CDs left (god forbid you overlap)
you really need a feral on your team to make it work, ideally FMP/jungle/dev feral

Looks like blizz doesnt care about holy for a minute, sadly. probably will need to take the tank route back into the meta (random small buffs into random S+ tier)
Hpriest is SIGNIFICANTLY weaker than other healers in 3s because of how dampening works with its healing kit.
On top of that, there is still the class selection bias and people would rather just play disc.
You see the same thing with mage and rogue specs even when theyre all great.
actually a PoM buff could be huge. Had some games where i reduce CD on POM using oracle and just SEND them over and over and over during dot burst type stuff. kind of fun and it worked well.
it’s definitely gonna be meaningful; pom pumps really hard right now, even as archon. it’s a shame that oracle somehow manages to bleed mana like a severed artery despite how cheap pom is and how much healing juiced pom spec oracle does (but also not a shame because oracle is boring asf compared to archon)
I still play juiced pom when I’m playing archon into dot cleaves - aff essentially becomes a joke without assa on its team with halo healing + surge procs + constant pom procs
Hpriest actually dont have a mana bar. at least when i look down after having healed for 30 seconds i dont see a blue bar anymore.
try whichever archon spec I last logged out in and you’ll say that we don’t have a mana bar but with the opposite meaning

you could probably also spec out of resonant words, pontifex, etc. and instead opt for pom holy word cdr, divine image, etc. but imo it’s unnecessary and you’d lose a lot of single target healing, definitely a way simpler playstyle though and you’d have ridiculous pom uptime (something like this: https://i.imgur.com/1oIB4hU.jpeg)
could even make an argument for 1/2 in answered prayers given how often you’ll be sending pom or 1/2 in light of the naaru for slightly faster holy word reset aka more pom reset procs in place of divine image

ERB actually triple dips in my spec/gear (binding heal + 5% leech) or quadruple (with trail of light) so it ends up doing a ton of healing; I think it’s probably better than the weapon embellishment if you use it but I’d go mastery/weapon embellishment for oracle
