I watched a video of someone mousing over a team mates frame and while targetting the boss, I believe, casting on his team mates where it would normally self cast. I was told there were macros that many priests use. Is there a certain place I can find a list of macros? Would you suggest a new player jump right in or just keep working on healing by itself? I’d appreciate any advice. Holy priest

/cast [@mouseover, nodead, help][] flash heal
Replace “flash heal” for whatever spell you want to use for a mouseover heal.
You can use this macro for any heal that targets a player (not spells like sanctify where you target a spot on the ground).
You can also use an addon called Clique which pretty much does the same thing without having to make the macros. I personally make all the macros myself so I know I wont have any issues with addon errors. Mouseover healing is pretty much the standard for most healers now.

Yes. Or you can get an add-on. I use Vuhdo and I simply set up my spells and keybinds there. I like it because it allows me to have mouseover heals using mouse clicks easier than macros.
