Holy Priest Covenant

Which of the four covenant abilities for priest sounds the best if I’m solely looking for things to help with healing? Night fae?

Probably kyrian.

That being said, the venthyr movement ability is invaluable for a wheel chair class like priest.

Night Fae would actually pair very well the holy word playstyle. It’s not a direct throughput increase, so keep that in mind. It would just allow you to get more of your cooldowns out faster. Kyrian is another aoe heal nuke, so it’s not that big of a difference, especially not with Holy Priest not being centered around damage and having so many other healing abilities. Venthyr’s could in theory be good for Raid Fights and PVP, but we won’t know for sure until it’s tested in raid. In normal content, it’s almost useless for healers. Necrolord is another odd one in the sense that it’s an aoe nuke, which oddly enough Holy Priest already has 2 strong aoe moves, so this weighs it down. Your base covenant ability is a shield however, so if you find yourself dying a lot it would help in that regard.

The way it looks at the moment is you’re going Night Fae. Not only is the ability busted on healers, but you’ll gain mobility from its base ability as well.

I think most likely night fae will be the overall best choice for Holy Priest, the signature ability is pretty good and the class ability looks like it can provide great support for the group.

I personally really dislike it though and I hope it is not broken to the point of being the clear cut best option but I think it might… It provides little personal benefit and I don’t feel it makes the gameplay any more fun, quite the opposite I think there’s a good chance it falls into degenerate gameplay of you using your abilities not for healing but just to grant someone else the extra resources or CD reduction to your party.

Probably venthyr or nightfae. Venthyr since it is a short cd way to keep the tank up with free mana, and nightfae because if the utility is worth it it will likely be too strong not to use.
